8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Best college for engineering

First of all i like this college because it’s government college. Then gect is the 2 nd best engineering college in the ktu university
Campus is good and the college life is also good

Placement Experience:

From Semester 6 students become eligible for campus placements Mrf, cisco, wipro, Renault, etc. are the companies visited and 10 lpa are offered A maximum of 15 lpa is offered 80% of students are getting placed I plan to take master's at the best college after getting the degree

Good campus with good teachers. They give us courage.
The campus is very nice.There is good sport facilities in the college.
The best thing about my college is placement. Their placements percentage is very high.

Dislikes

Small campus ,the size of the campus is relatively small compared to other campuses.
The campus canteen has comparatively less varieties of food
The campus does not have a cricket playground only got net

The atmosphere of campus is excellent & provides positive energy. The facilities and college staffs are friendly and supportive.
Good placement cell and placement opportunities are provided in muthoot institute of technology and science.

Dislikes

The pressure of studies are very irritating.
The events other than studies are not good in our college.

Ad shankara campus life

Likes

One of the best thing I've liked is college surroundings. It's filled with a green environment which provides a positive atmosphere and fresh air to students
The college has very well equipped lab facilities
Provides NBA and NAAC accridited courses

Dislikes

Canteen food is very bad that we cannot eat it properly
Stupid rules such as boys can only wear collared shirts
During college functions, they put a barrier that seperates girls and boys that they could not celebrate together

Placement Experience:

For placement the companies select students from third year onwards, the placements on the college are actually pretty good. They provides placement trainings from internal faculties and externals and make students perform well in their interviews. They provides packags upto 12 lakhs.

Likes

Great college and university as exams are held correctly on time
Great job opportunities as placements happens every year
Less stress and have enough time for everything

Dislikes

Due to covid classes have been taken very fast
Results take time to come after every exams.
There is no revaluation for external lab exams

Placements happen during pur final years of college. They provide placement training to all their students. So there is high chance of you getting placed if you have passed all subjects. They provide all necessay trainings dor interviews

Gec palakkad has good infrastructure and lab facilities, basic needs like toilets drinking water facilities, canteen etc are good
Good syllabus covering the topic thouroughly
Faculties are well qualified and very helping

Dislikes

Placements oppurtunities are very poor compared to other colleges
College is very distant from nearby town
Hostels are not very big there is only limited seats

I was a electrical and electronics student. Our curriculum had lots of scope for improvement. Even though it covers majority of topics I feel like lots of updates are needed. Curriculum is revised every 4 years. But new technologies are excluded even in new curricculum.End semester Exams are conducted every 5 months

Likes

Teaching skills of our faculties are very good .They uses several presentations for teaching students
The ambience of the campus is really good,calm and quiet surroundings helps in better concentration
Facilities in the campus is awesome. Libraries,canteens,washrooms,prayer rooms are really helpful

Dislikes

Transporation facilities are not that good
Class duration are bit short ,semesters are to be bit longer
Exam schedules are not good ,proper study leaves can be offered

From 6th semester students became eligible for campus placements.students with minimum backlog papers are eligble for the placements.core companies from civil,mechanical& electical companies are visiting for the placements

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
