- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculam is vast and doesn't gives us the basic informative things required foe an ai student rather than giving more unwanted things which doesn't come in use for our future..whereas teaching meathods are fine

- The infrastructure of the college is top rated.NBA has given a 10 on 10 for the infrastructure facilities like laps,classrooms,and other amenities
- They give more importance to the development of each and every student by conducting workshops,extra classes, remedial classes for students scoring less mark
- They promote the promote the professionalism in the students. Make sure they dress in professional attire and build the best attitude
Dislikes
- The hostel is very strict.Need to take permission for each and every small things.feels like a prison
- The college does not provide funding for cultural activities for arranging Bands and other programs.Also night programs are not allowed.Girls and boys are not allowed to dance together they tie a rope between them
- The security is very strict.make problems unnecessary.The college is very controlling
Course Curriculum Overview:
The Biomedical curriculum is choosen such that it provides the latest syllabus.Lab facilities are also very good.They have collaboration with top health care companies like GE healthcare,Agappe diagnostic,Rani Eye care Hospital,Eightwe Digital Transformations etc

- Faculty members are well trained and are qualified mostly from IITs and NITs.
- Environmental setup is really awesome and calm.
- Library offers a large variety of books. Other than common library each department has a department library.
Dislikes
- Labs are not well furnished and well maintained.

Placement Experience:
From seventh semester students will be eligible for campus placements
Comapnies visited are Walkaro , Talrop. L & T , Infosys, Viseton etc. Mainly software comapnies are visiting for placement drives. An avaerge of 4 lakhs per annum are provided by the companies and the number of offers made are very less as compared to other colleges. Percentile of students getting placements are very less.
Plans after Btech is cracking GATE.

- Infrastructure is the best among the colleges i have seen.Classrooms are bigger and more open so fresh air could pass through
- Computer labs the really good with high spec machines and also the vr labs
- The staffs and faculty are really awesome they support every individual atudenta to achieve their goals
Dislikes
- Fees are really a big concern for people like me
- The bus facility and the bus fees are too high
- The canteen ,the food rates are high and not enough quantity.They are increasing the cost every single semester
Placement Experience:
Placements are really good more than enough companies are coming every year and a lot of students are getting placed many are getting more than one offer letter.Im not interested in getting placed, my intention is to go abroad to get a mba and all

- As it is a govt college the fees are affordable
- As it is an old college so the labs are having so many machines
- The events held in the college are great and seniors are so friendly and supportive
Dislikes
- Our college is about 86 acres so it has so much too walk from my hostel, or if one dep to other.
- I most often experience loneliness after joining college
- The infracture and class are not that good as its almost as old as this college
Placement Experience:
According to teachers the placement is 100 percentage. And most of the students gets placed in CSe, Ec, Eee etc. But the placement rate is low in mechanical department. I plan to write gate to get selected in any good psu, if not any jobs like merchant navy or oil rig.

From s7 onwards students are eligible for campus placements lot of companies come to college of engineering chengannur and they recruit students students performance is also good so many of them get placed

- College is located in middle of Chengannur town so everything is easily accessible
- Bus stand and railway station are in walking distance from the college
- Good classrooms and faculty. Good infrastructure
Dislikes
- The campus areas is very small and not very spacious
- The playground is very small and unable to play football
- Gym and grounds are not maintained and full of stray dogs
Placement Experience:
My college offers good placement opportunities. Average placement is about 3.5lpa. Mainly the company recruiting is TCS. They also offer intership opportunity with stipends. Mainly the placement is for IT companies.

- I collage there are many activities like hakethon fest etc
- Boys to girls ratio is 40:60 there is a very good enviornment between teachers and students
- They provide many facilities for sports activities and have a huge library
Dislikes
- There are some small ragging by seniors to first years
- Very strict will not allow to go outside without permission
- Less amount of advanced technologies and workshops for studiying

According to my knowledge there are many scope for placements in this collage.companies like tata infosys etc come here to acquire students,over 100 companies are comming to this collage for placements and over 500 students are being placed yearly

- The food we get in the hostel are some times not good
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course Is a 4 year course and we are the first batch to have a new scheme it's based on 2024 scheme , till last year we have the 2019 scheme , in this year we find difficulty to adapt to this new scheme .

- The programs and yearly fests are the best part of the college
- The sports and all the programs are also fun and teachers are supporttive
Dislikes
- Some teachers are bad at teaching and they are just rude to students even some of our students are better than her she makes mistakes and when the students corrects her she argues back
- Some of our labs are in a bad condition but it's getting better overtime they changed all the devices now
Placement Experience:
There are campus placements but getting campus placements to big MNCs at the beginning is a waste of money, talent and time instead join startups they pay way more and give you a way to grow after that join MNCs which boosts your salary to double

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
