Reality of CEC

Firstly I had applied for numerous colleges ranking from college of engineering Trivandrum to Rajahiri college, even though my KEAM rank was around 13k I did not have the scope of getting into ourely government colleges, then was the possibility of going into IHRD colleges and least ranked government colleges and the private colleges, but studying for 12 years in a private college made me think otherwise, then I had the option of the IHRD and least cutoff ranked government colleges, during my first allotment I got intro this college but under electronics department later during the second allotment it changed to computer science department and same suring the third allotment, this college is about two hours away from my hometown, and reachable by train, the other factors were this college was highly recommended by my cousin aunt who is a professor in model engineering college Thrikkakara....Read More

I choose this college because it offered best balance between academic reputation, placements and fee structure. I applied few other colleges but i didn't got admission. On keam exam i secured a decent score so i got admission in cec. And also several people told me that cec is one of the finest college in kerala. The college is really not a choice for me . as the admission process through entrance exams to other govt colleges are restricted by my rank . i have only a choice to opt this college at my rank. this is the best chouce at my rank level. as the keam exam rank is vey poor i am forcefully willing to take this college . with a mentality of change this course and college i started studying but later on accept the reality and now continuing studies here....Read More
