Placement Experience:

8th semester students are eligible for placement and infosys, Malabar gold, tcs, byjus and many calling centre companies, skilled and high performed student get 9 lakh per annum and average students get 2 lakh per annum. Approx 20 % student get placement. My plan is that I would apt for placements or I will do extra courses for developing my skills

Most of the students here think about geting placed in the software field. But ther eare also core fields available. I like to move to a core field which actually helps me informative about the subjecg i studied.

Students are eligible for placement in the 7th semester, college provides us placement based on cgpa, gate score and skills. Highest package to get from vimal Jyothi is 10 lpa, now average package is around 4-5 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

I give a rate of 8.7 out of 10 . The faculties teachung skills are good but didnt have enough practical skills. They explain every topics and made easy when go for exams. They should also give improvment in real world problems and develop students practical skills

As I say my college has the second highest placement rate in Kerala and it offers many multinational companies like Apple , Google ,Twitter, Tata etc. you will be eligible for the placement from 6th semester onwards and average pack is 100000 rupees. You should atleast have a 8.5 cgpa to apply for placement drives as many companies have a cgpa cuttoff

From what I know there is placements from 6th semester and a lot of people gets placed here, companies who hires here are a lot ,some of the big ones are TCS ,Wipro etc, Lowest is around 4 lack per annum i think,don't know about highest As far as I know arround 50 percent of students gets placed here I am also planning to get campus placement and looking for a job

The students become eligible for campus placement from the 4th year onwards The companies that visit us are Amazon, ibm, Infosys, tcs, Wipro etc. Tye highest package comes upto 5.2 LPA and the average package is upto 2 LPA.

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
