There is no ragging in the college campus.
Beautiful campus with clean surroundings and friendly faculties
Access to huge library, labs and workshops

Dislikes

Too much assignment and exams, 3 exams per semester
Strict monitoring of attendance and strict rules on uniform
Cannot cut classes or roam around the campus without tag

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is vere interesting and I took it because I like data science, although the Apj abdul kalam university sets the course curriculum, the college sets up the internal exams, the questions are pretty hard but doesn help us stay on track and keep pushing the scores

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placement in the 7th semester, college provides us placement based on cgpa, gate score and skills. Highest package to get from vimal Jyothi is 10 lpa, now average package is around 4-5 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees I'm paying is 98000 rupees per year It is solely tuition fees, no other fee are asked by the college. Scholarship for reserved castes and low income students exists. Students with Merit only need to pay 85000 per year

Campus Life

The campus does allow us for arts fest, tech fest and sports day. A huge library is there providing various internationally accepted books. Our annual tech fest is facilitated in November or the end of odd semesters

Admission

I took this college because BTech in Ai&ds was only available in Vimal Jyothi, near to my home. And I could travel daily to home from my college and it was pretty affordable. I took the management seat, which is only available for students who scored a pretty good marks in 12th std

Faculty

For every 60 students two faculty is assigned. They are mostly friendly and fun to engage with. There are 3 internal exams per semester. Helps us deal with the subject and score more marks. And One semester external exam

Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education.
