JLU Bhopal Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Only the law chambers advocates and Bhopal High Court top lawyers are the ones who provide us Internships as well as jobs. Most students have secured pre placement offer from them and that is how the placements of JLU School of Law are. Good to see that placements in recent past have increased and now law students are offered 40-50k starting salary offers.

The course curriculum is great! The course gets completed smoothly yet before hand and then we have a lot of time for revision. The reason why I pursued law was because this field amazed me. I have a keen interest in learning and practicing law.

Campus placements at JLU begins early as law is a 5 year course but from fourth year final semester, we are allowed to find placements in our own. Or there are some corporate houses which comes to our campus to recruit and we can apply there as well.

At our University, School of Law, is one of the prominent placements candidate as corporate law is forte for our university and therebare many corporate law firms visit our campus for placements on day zero.

It's the law firms and mostly the ones from Metro Cities as Khaitan, DSK Legal and many such which are private litigation firms are the ones which gives us placements at will. JLU is also trying hard to get intenrships along the way so that students can also earn PPO too.

as far as the placements are concerned, no student can fully rely on the college as law isn't a placement oriented field in the first place. most students here prepare for judiciary or upsc after graduation and some go for further studies and doing masters in their desired area of interest. however, the college does try it's best to help students land into various internships throughout the year. ultimately, it depends upon how hard working and ambitious the individual is. the college has tie ups with a few prestigious companies like wipro, infosys etc

Curriculum are organised and designed as to improve the speaking skills and confidence for every students which is the basic skills of a advocate or lawyer. There many clubs like litigium club, moot court club, pro bono club , legal aid club. Moot court competition are held every semester and they organise a special moot court competition for the freshers so that they can get a idea to compete with seniors . There are many debate competition in college or outside college. There are many opportunities for every student it's up to you how much you grasp them and perform because at the end they can only organise you have to participate.

Placements in law are a bit tough as in many students go for professional personal litigation and some go for civil jobs! Whoever are leftout go for the placement for corporate sector and further placement rate and packages are good at jlu

The course curriculum here is too good and effective. And the reason which influenced me to join this college was that .. this college is one of the top pvt law colleges in M.P. The methods that should be changed was atleast we should have a proper break and activities should be conducted in class to generate interest of people. The time given for exam is 1½ hours and difficulty depends on our preparation.

It's not fully relevant i mean the subject which we are studying in the fifth year should be taught in the first year itself. Teaching method is also boring so it makes the subject boring. Exams sometimes comes in between the extra curricular
