- At JLU liberty is the best thing as along with studies we are allowed to participate in sports or moots hosted by other colleges.
- Our college too holds moot events every year twice.
- Our sports facilities are such that one can ever train for their state level competitions.
Dislikes
- Only BA LLB is offered here as BBA LLB too is one of the best courses available today at most other universities.
Course Curriculum Overview
Black Coat as that's our uniform which we wear daily and that gives a next kind of satisfaction. So through uniform we are taught professionalism in classes itself. Now coming to our curriculum in the second year we have subjects which NLUs offer in 3rd year and hende what else can we expect front them.
Internships Opportunities
High Court of Madhya Pradesh is a promising place and there are lawyers and law chambers which have direct connection with our university. So from University itself we can register ourselves for intenrships a month before.
Placement Experience
At our University, School of Law, is one of the prominent placements candidate as corporate law is forte for our university and therebare many corporate law firms visit our campus for placements on day zero.
Fees and Financial Aid
JLU Law School is the second best school of our university after Journalism. The fees of law though is highest as even engineering fees is in mid 1 lakhs. However for law it's a little over 2 lakhs but since I am an OBC student I get 28000 refunded back as MP State Government Scholarship Program for lower caste student exists for us.
Campus Life
Our college hosts many events and some of the most promising of them are Carnival Fest, Foudners day event and International Festival of Media. Our law department fest is called Riwaaz and Riwaaz 3.0 was celebrated last year and it was a box office stuff. Sports are such that almost every student is engaged in some or the other sporting event. There are many student run social group which includes Disha where we promote Eye Donation.
Admission
I applied at NLUs and also gave AILET but the only college I was offered through CLAT was NMIMS School of Law Indore. I never wanted that as that is just built and hardly have placements opportunities. So i chose this as opportunities wise JLU Bhopal is one of the best.
Faculty
Exams are thrice every semester as after the first one a half month we have class tests. Then we have internals a month later and then finally we have annual exams. Our faculties are the ones who sets paper as ours is a self financed university and therefore facilities don't prepare tough papers for us and we all are thankful to them for that.
Night Life
Our hostels in time is 7.30 and also for hangout apart from Kaveri Dam we don't have anything. Travelling to main city of Bhopal costs 1 hour atleast and it is difficult to reach back on time. So studnets mostly hangout inside the campus which has parks and cafes.
