Vertical Entry: Diploma in the concerned branch of Engineering/Technology from CIT with overall 65% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD).

Lateral Entry: Passed Minimum Three years / Two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Selection:

Vertical Entry: The Vertical Entry Scheme is offered only for meritorious students who passed Diploma from CIT Kokrajhar and they are selected based on their performance in the Diploma Exams.
Lateral Entry: For Lateral Entry Scheme, the candidates must qualify the CIT Lateral Entry Test (CITLET) conducted by CIT Kokrajhar.
