The campus is in village area if you like village then you can explore near by area
Teacher's are willing to help you in your studies

This college provides well education. For the admission process you can apply for the entrance exam conducted by the institute and also jee mains marks are considered . NE region students get beneficial

"My college is best college".

Likes

I like the greenery in our college because i live in Hyderabad Telangana in our city they is no greenery in our surrounding so i like this college for this reason and its a good college and it have so many plays which is usefull to us.
I like the teachers of this college because they are full knowledge persons,they are so disipilened also if we don't have attendence more than 75 percentage they dont allow to write exam.
I like the peace in this college because i am from Hyderabad so they is so much of traffic in our roads,in our college there is no disturbance everywhere is peace here.

Dislikes

I dont like my friends who are here in this college because they don't help me in any work.
I don't the hostle food because they is no protein and no taste in this food.
i don't like the rule of my college like 75 percentage attandance i came here by CSAB conselling here it the rule of 75 percent attandence effect me.

Admission:

I choose this college because this college is central and i will get good knowledge and the faculty bof this college is from other states so i choose this college.I got in other course in other college so i rejected that colleges,i don't get any rejection from other colleges.If we will pay fees of our semister they will be included all fees. My admission experience is good.

Campus life at CIT kokrajhar

Likes

The best things I like about this colleges is we get a huge campus
Secondly the Professors are quite helpful if you need some help from them
Thirdly we get nice library with more than lakhs of books and journals

Dislikes

The thing I dislike about this college is the mess food is horrible
Sometimes if we are having exams there may be a long power-cut
The labs dose not have sufficient experimental setups for experiments

Admission:

This college provides good environment for study and co curicular activities as this college is located far away from town area. For admission you neet to clear jee or CIT Entrance exam for B-Tech and for M-Tech you much clear GATE or CIT entrance

Discipline and security is a very good aspect of this institution.
Location of the campus is very good for the peace,as it is not near the town nor too far .
Attendance is very important here . Which is great .

Dislikes

Sports infrastructure is very bad .There is no indoor stadium here . Sports equipment are also not provided regularly.We have to buy our own .No Table tennis board,no cricket ground.
2 of the hostel are very far from the campus.for 1 year students, which is quite bad .
Maintenance is bad .In the main gate , institutes name is also not written .

Admission:

I didn't apply for any other colleges .As my sister home was near and this institution is under central government guidance,I just prefer this college only . The admission process is very simple here , a student can join the institute through jee mains,citkee or all india engineering exams . For jee mains ,the cit off for general was 82 and for citkee the cutoff for general was 150 rank. The most preferred one is citkee and the jee mains .

Infrastructure is quite nice and it looks better in rainy season
Developments of clubs in the campus is on rapid mode
Well performed labs with very tallented teachers

Dislikes

Hostel mess food is likely baad and sometimes non eatable
Hostel condition is little bad looks bad in rainy season
There is no student union in the college to tackle student related matters.

Admission:

For selecting the department this college is very nice as of we can select various departments like instrumentation , food engineering technology , electronics and communication , civil engineering etc. all can the various aspects in which they are interested . Cuttoffs for the entrance exam in this college is not so high so all can aplly.

Good professor, teaching and non teaching staff are good ,approachable and friendly . Always ready to help for students in need .Good for students who want to learn .Very much supportive environment .
Campus Life is also good.Events of tech and cultural also happen.
Placement is avg.Needs some improvement,but all depends on one effort itself

Dislikes

More sports activities should be done here.
Canteen should be open 24×7 or upto atleast 11 12 pm
Slow development of infrastructure ,thats all.

Admission:

Other colleges I applied were NEHU and Tezpur University.I got IT branch in NEHU and Mechanical in Tezpur and CSE in CIT kokrajhar.I preferred CIT because the CSE branch is what I wanted from the beginning.Even though it's infra level is less than Tezpur University,but I didn't wanted to waste time in other branch rather than CSE .CIT compared to NEHU had better chances for CSE students.

Likes

Campus Life if so good ...It is too environmental freely
Professors are so good and helpful......

Dislikes

Mess food is so bad ...You can't eat without chips , pickel etc ...
Management is so bad as fest are getting low and low day by day

Admission:

Actually I have given JEE exam for getting admission in NIT or IIT or IIIT...But my score was not so good , so I have given direct entrance examination of CIT and got admision here through it . We can easily get admission here

The area of the campus and the environment its just awesome
The cultural nights. And the clubs which are run by the students
The quality education is just next level

Dislikes

The mess food they can't make the food properly
The exams they are very tough nowdays means you have no other options
The main reason is the faculty is not support that much what you want to do for you passion they just onnly ki you have to study

Admission:

I choose this college because it is near to my hometown and the fee structure is low. And my marks are not that enough to crack iits n all so i prefer to take admission to this college And the best thing is its the centrally funded government college

Likes

The college have very good faculties. The professors have great work ethic, especially in my branch, the professors put extra efforts.
The college have a local gym, which i go in. And its absolutely free of cost. There are various things to play on like basketball court, volleyball court, football field etc.
The infrastructure is really great. actually much better the most of the state government colleges.

Dislikes

The placement system is absolutely terrible. Like there are almost zero placements.
The food of the hostel is absolutely worst quality. Its like dog food. there is frequent power cut.
There are mostly tribal community in this college, which makes it very hard to develop the college.

Admission:

The eligibility of the course is 12+2 as well as 10+ The application form can be found on the official website of the college. There is a reservation system in the college. The BTR region gets about 30 % of seats. The north east people get around 50% seats and the rest of India gets 20 %. The exams are held twice in a single semester. The difficulty is moderate level. The college should take more students from JEE and it should remove the reservation system.
