Students who are eligible for few waiver can avail it quite easily. The cost of education is average. Students who were unable to avail few waiver through JOSAA can avail it later in college. Students get financial aids through various non-profitable organisations and also from NSP. College alumni provide a special scholarship program for merit students. IIEST Shibpur has a tiered fee system, meaning your costs depend on family income. Check the official website for the exact breakdown. It includes tuition, hostel (if you need it), plus some smaller fees. Fee hikes are possible but usually infrequent and reasonable. Scholarships are definitely available! IIEST Shibpur offers merit-based awards and special ones for economically disadvantaged or SC/ST/OBC students. They also have some financial aid for those struggling. Plus, check out external scholarships from the government or private organizations. Campus jobs exist, but might be a bit limited. Look for Teaching Assistant roles in the ECE department, library assistant positions, or see if any professors need research help. Stipends will vary.
