On the basis of your income you will get the fees discount and if your income is less than 1Lakhs then you will get 100% fee discount you have to pay only 4000 per semester and you can also apply for scholarship like NSP and many more
Like other Nits in India, we also have the same fee structure. it's true that pursuing engineering in India is more costly. you can get a scholarship if you belong to some cast reservations. otherwise, you can also get a scholarship called the GAABESU scholarship.
The fees in this college are. quite low than other central govt colleges. if you belong to any category or you have any reservations, like sc st and PWD, you will get a 100% fee waiver. There are many scholarships like the swami Vivekanand scholarship which give you up to 60k
The fees are reasonable as it is an Institute of national importance. It is 1.4 lakhs per year. Financial benefits- get reduced to less than Rs 60000 if your parent's income is less than Rs 5 lakhs per annum. In 2020-22 the fees were also reduced due to Covid-19.
Many state and national level scholarship programs are available which almost reduces the tuition fee to a negligible amount. There are a lot of job opportunities. Several reputable companies come to offer a job. GAABESU and DAAD are the reputed scholarships in our institution.
College fees is extremely affordable and many state and national level scholarships are provided for makes the tuition fees almost negligible. a number of companies comes to provide job among which reputate ones like Microsoft, Adobe and many are present.
Our fee structure is 4 years is 7 to 8 lakh and also many scholarship is give on the basis of income and also rank and grades, like students whose family income is less then 5lakh got 50%fee weiver and student whose family in come is less then 1 lakh got full fee wevier
The college provides scholarships on a merit basis and the college also provides a complete waiver in the college tuition fee if the annual income of an individual is below 5 lakh. The college also has several scholarship schemes for various departments. Scholarships can also be availed through the National Scholarship Portal for the college.

One of my elder brothers has completed his B.E degree in Aerospace from BESU, Shibpur.
As per him, Aerospace Engineering is the youngest Department and lacks of proper infrastructure. He also mentioned the poor planning, and except for some professors, other teachers do not have even the knowledge about what they are teaching. However, professors with proper subject knowledge are just awesome; rather, they are the coolest professors in this institute.
Additionally, the positive thing about this institute is that all the professors have a logical mindset. They are always prepared to do any sort of experimentation related to the course. They are always ready to implement any practicable criticism that may approach their way to research.
Moreover, the term “worthwhile” is much related to campus recruitment. Considering this, my elder brother honestly told me that if a student wants to engage with Aerospace Engineering, it is better than going for a higher study. This is so because the institute does not provide any job opportunity after completing M.Tech.
Aerospace Engineering is a new stream in India and if you wants to establish in this field, then it is better to try foreign universities. It is because India still not have a good infrastructure for the development of its own aerospace industry. Besides, the private organisations that offer a job in India are comparatively very low than Russia, Germany and France. The only sole organisation is Hindustan Aeronautics, and it does not have any competitors.
Thus, the student must choose to study Aerospace Engineering very wisely, and they must analyse future job perspectives first.
Seeing your interest in both branches, IIEST has a wide scope of diverse cultures and you will find many students from all over the nation.
IIEST Shibpur offers great exposure in terms of academics as well as extra-curricular activities along with the interactive clubs and fun happening fests. It comes under the Government of India and is one of the NIT.
However, Aerospace Engineering is not a trending branch anymore and it was in the limelight a decade ago. To open up more opportunities, you will be required to pursue a Master’s or prepare for the competitive exams to get a decent job.
ECE at Heritage Institute is more prominent but being a private college, it is not up to the mark as compared to Aerospace Engineering. The placement opportunities at HIT are not good. Therefore, all you can do is to opt for IIEST, get a decent aggregate, and change the branch from Aerospace to ECE in the second year.
