- Aap professors are very good and take know about the subject in detail and the love their subjects and teach us how to love the subject
- Jadavpur university has a strong track record of campus placements, with many students securing promising job opportunities in leading companies across various industries.
- The eligibility of the course for electronics and telecommunication engineering is you have to get a good marks and rank in wbjee exam, our department is second best after cse is the best department in our college

- Quality of faculty is not very good as the salaries are low. the flawed fees structure causes the university to be dependent on government funds and lack autonomy.
- The thing which i disliked is the level of difficulty in our syllabus..it's a bit tough.
- The infrastructure of the class and labs are not good due to lack of funds and skilled personnel at all levels.

- The campus thats very much big it's being 5 months over there still i haven't explored the full campus
- We had a freshers sports called u-turn only for engineering department. We had u-turn final night in which u can call it as a small fest .
- Before the annual and tech fest the departmental annual sports occurs.
Dislikes
- No civil department building of its own .
- Few canteen is overpriced that should be less.
Placement Experience:
The placement in Jadavpur University is one of the best, it gives best return on investment, the average package of Jadavpur University is 10lpa. You r eligible for placement form the end of your 3rd year , the company's that visited Jadavpur University is like Google, Microsoft, Texas Industries, Samsung etc , they made a multiple number of offers. In 2024 a boy from Information technology grabbed a placement of 1.4 cr and the avg CTC is 10LPA.
The percentage of students get placed is almost 95% plus. For me after getting the degree I will sit for the placement and try to grab a good job

- Campus life is very much enjoyable and sports faculty
- The infrastructure of exam is much favorable for stidents..students can decide their exam date
- The placement is very much good,, even better than maximum IIT's and NIT's

- The boy girl ratio is very much bad,, like 10:1.even IEE department has 0 girls in this 27 batch
- JU should look in the case of ragging, those students stay in hostel they faces ragging
- And a thing that I dislike most is the political parties inside the campus,, some students also involved in political party
Placement Experience:
The best part in JU is the Return of investment JU provides one of the best campus placement all over India,,, and the average package is around 10 lpa,, cse average- 25 lpa.. After 3 year students become eligible for campus placement.. Indian company and also some mncs visit JU and take some students.. Texus instrument, Google, Amazon, apple, Facebook, also visits.. Texus instrument offer average package 38 lpa and highest 45 lpa in this year,,, and I'm this year a student from IT crack an international package of 1.4 cr in pixel.. Above 90% students gets placement from campus,,, some branch like IEE, IT, CSE gets 100% placement.. My plan is after getting degree is doing Job for my family conditions.

- The faculty here at JU is one of the world class faculties, their knowledge levels are too great.
- The campus life here is very great you get fests round the year so you never get bored.
- The placements here in JU is very good almost every eligible candidate gets placed.
Dislikes
- Hostel seats are very limited so students have to manage their accommodation themselves.
Placement Experience:
JU has a very rich placements stats.
Students become eligible for placements from their 3rd year.
The 2023 placement season saw a very great stats where branches like mechanical engineering saw a 100% placement record.
The university average pacakage stood at 10 LPA and avg pacakage of CSE department stood at 23.7 LPA

- I liked the environment of JU. Everyone feels free to show their talents in different activities.
- Also I liked that the academic pressure of JU is lesser than IITs.
- The students can concentrate more on their research and go through the opportunities that they want to avail in their lives.
Dislikes
- Out many things there are very few things which a student can dislike.
- In Jadavpur University, students smoke and drink in campus. But there's no ragging problem now.
- Also I feel that the security of Jadavpur University is not upto the mark. Anyone can get into the university at any time.
Placement Experience:
I told before, JU gives the best ROI. The placements in JU is phenomenal. Most of the students from every branches got placed. The average package of JU is 10 lakhs per annum. Every year more than 30 students get packages over 50 lakhs per annum.

- I liked the overall package, tech fests .
- Lots of trees planted across the campus, good scenery .
- I also liked good interactions with seniors .
Placement Experience:
Top class placements including 10 LPA as avearge package and even 100% placement ratio in branches like Civil, Mechanical and Construction with the highest on campus package being 2 CR. In fact, the entire placement percentage is 90% which is excellent!!

Students are generally eligible for placement from seventh semister.
No. Of companies visiting the campus are mor than hundred.
Last year's highest package was around 84 lpa and average was 13 lakhs per annum

- The encouragement to follow passion alongside studies
- The senior student bond and the availablity of sports amenities
- Since there are no attendance mandatory so we can skip whichever class we don't feel necessary
Dislikes
- The infrastructure haven't developed that much
- While there are sports facilities but usually everybody isn't allowed there
- There is a single table tennis boards for the whole engineering department
Placement Experience:
Technically from 2nd year many of them get into internships but the placement mainly starts in 4th year wherein many companies come for recruitment purposes. Generally above 85% of students are placed.

Our college is specially renowned for placements . More than one students get placements will above 1 crore . The average placement is around 20 LPA and students can also apply for internships from 3rd year itself .

- Fests are wonderful, all kinds of events are there
- Lots of trees plantes across the campus, friendly seniors
Placement Experience:
One of the best placements provided in the entirety of India, branches like Mechanical, Civil and Construction have seen 100% placements.
Infact, the entire placement percentage is 88%, which is outstanding!!

quite good, high RoI, number of companies visiting depends on the year, a high number of students get placed some even with double or triple offers, for coding/sde roles, very high packages are found, core companies also visit the campus
