Besides this placement, there is a big opportunity for other jobs.
Many scholarships like svmcm, oasis, inspire, and many more can be applied.
When i decided to apply to this university, i started to collect information that which course would be better, which campus would be better, and which subject has a better future like that.

Dislikes

Svmcm is available as a scholarship no financial assistance and no job got on campus with a stipend.
Hostel facility is very poor.. the rooms of the girl's hostel are in bad condition.. the food quality is not good.
The hostels are not upto the mark. mess food is of not good quality.

The importance of BCKV in our life

Likes

I mostly like any programme which is organized by the authority, professor and stydent
The bonding between the student and professors
The teching process through which the professor are taught us .

Dislikes

long period of class , the no. of subject .
The semester fee is very high for those student who have financial problem

Placement Experience:

After completing there seventh sem they can appear in the campus placement. There are also a placement cell , every year companies are coming but from 2 year ago it low because then a period of COVID,lock down are happened. After getting the degree we will prepared for any goverment job.

My college- explanation in my way

Likes

There is a excellent studying environment.
The Library is very much helpful for academic studies as well as competitive exams.
The campus has a vast greenery and it is so much eco friendly.

Dislikes

The communication system is not so good .
The fees should be Little bit decreased.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was eager to study agriculture. As our agriculture has a lot of sustainable culture and history. The faculty-student ratio is almost 1:3. All professors are Ph.D. They are experts. Term exams are taking a lot of time. They are very tough and a lot of pressure is there.

Life in BCKV as a BCKVian

I love my college overall. I love the campus of my college
I like the library of our college. Here you can enjoy free wifi
I'm thankful to our college to give me those genuine friends...this 4 years gonna be best years of your life.

Dislikes

It would be better if atleast more than half of the batch got placement
There is absence of infrastructure in laboratories
And which I hate the most is to give those huge no of exams 😂

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually, I want to pursue an MBBS degree but I failed to crack neet that's why I'm here today. The faculty-student ratio is good enough, it is not a big issue. Faculties are highly educated and helpful. If you enter in bckv you will be habituated with exams, per semester 10/11 subject and practical exam, viva, midterm, and end term of those subjects but it is not hard to pass.

University in my eyes

Likes

Teaching of faculty members and their behavior
Cultural programmes conducted in our university
Hostel meal in our university hostel .it is very tasty

Dislikes

Placement can be much better from recent time
There should more lights in our university campus
Library should be opened after the university hour.

Placement Experience:

There is a good scope for placement. Many companies like Syngenta, Flipkart, and private banks come to our university. The average package is 400000 per year. besides this placement, there is a big opportunity for other jobs.

It's my point of view

Likes

The professors , their teaching process.
The nature and atmosphere of the campus.
The library of our campus also our class rooms.

Dislikes

The pressure of the classes. Sometimes it feels like too much.
The transport systems of that campus area.
The network on overall campus area is very poor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are 3 categories of exams in our university. One is the midterm which is conducted in the middle of the semester and includes half of the total syllabus. Next is practical exams which are conducted either before or after the final endterm examination. And third is the end-term examination which is conducted at the end of the semester. If someone follows the classes properly and maintains regularity about his/her studies then succeeding will be not an issue.

View of an second year student

Likes

Field practical are best in the main campus.
Infrastructure is quite good here. The availability of lab instruments is average.
Library facilities is very much likable for us.

Dislikes

Very few placement are happening now a days.
The outing of results of our exams are not in time.
Some department urgently need development.

Placement Experience:

The students of the 8th semester are mainly eligible for campus placement. Different companies like IFFCO other fertilizer companies, and NGOs come here. My plan is to appear in different competitive exams to pursue a higher degree.

Life in BCKV

Likes

Campus is beautiful with greenery, lakes ,seasonal gardens.
Central library with wifi providing all types of books, e- resources and journals.
The excellent faculty always helpful and cooperative.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are poor and not up to the mark.
Lack of maintenance in and around the campus.
Placements are low, only few students get placed.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that great. Few companies or NGOs come for placements. The average package is around 2.5 -3.5 lakhs. Not many students get placements. Most students opt for higher studies or Government jobs. Students generally appear for JRF or other competitive exams. Some opt for an MBA.

Likes

The faculty and the teachers of our university
The hostel food and rooms and the friends
The university environment and the ambience

Some worst seniors who are not friendly and the worst teachers

Placement Experience:

Placement occurring in our college is good highest package of placement is 10 lacs per annum by a seed production company Besides this msc degree is much preferable for that job and an average of 70% of students get a job in the placement cell.

Likes

Overall experience is great. The campus life here is memorable and comfortable.
Students also have the opportunity to show sprots and extra curriculum talents.
Good quality education is provided by the Faculties here with ample knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Students mostly go for higher studies, and other students study for banking and govt examinations in agricultural fields like IBPS AFO, NABARD, FCI, IFFCO AGT etc. Placement in BCKV is below average as very few companies visit for placement. The average package is 3 lakh per annum. Overall there are many opportunities for students who want to pursue this course.

Average life of an agrico in West Bengal's top Agricultural University

I liked the campus a lot. It's absurdly pretty. U can get a variety of flora and fauna here.
I liked the classes and how the professors answer our doubts with cate
The sense of discipline. From the morning classes that last till evening, it taught me to become hard working.

Dislikes

The place where the campus is situated is remote. U won't get so many markets and shops if u r coming from a town.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Up to 2023, this was the only honours course with a tech-savvy nature offering a 4-year grad degree and students can take admission in any program after grad. They can even opt for gov level programs or get engaged in banks, and can pursue MTech or MBA Each and every professor of this university is qualified many with national as well as global recognition. Faculty-student ratio is roughly 1:1 Term exams are pretty periodic with 6-month intervals and given the huge number of subjects they last long.
