- Because It is placed in such a place Dehradun.
- Faculty is good and friendly in nature as per my experience.
Dislikes
- The climate is beautiful as well as drastic changes in temperature.
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students becomes eligible for campus placements.
Microsoft, Dell etc visited & no of offers made 2500 .
The details of highest package 44 Lakhs and 8.50 Lakhs per company.
The 94% overall placements.

- campus location ,it is based on the foot of mountains.
- always cool climate , its not like very hot climate.
- very good infrastructure and faculty of UPES.
Dislikes
- hostel meal food , sometime they really make it worse.
- UPES is located on the 15km from the main city.
- doing to and fro from campus to main city makes its irriating.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placement after the 7th semester, recently Microsoft and Amazon came to campus and gave offers to students. the highest package was 50 lakhs and the average is 14-13 lakhs per annum.

- The faculties are very much supportive in every field.
- There are so much opportunities outside of academics.
Dislikes
- Campus size is not as big as IITs or NITs.
Placement Experience:
Placement rates are about 95 percent here with an average package of 9-10 lpa. The highest package which was offered here was 50 lpa which happened in 2023 only. 3 people were offered this 50 lpa package.

- Nothing is to be disliked being in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am having a keen interest in space and aircraft structure. The faculty here is really kind and supportive at each and every step of our journey in this course whether it's academic or co-curricular activities. The faculty here are either master's or Ph.D. holders from renowned colleges.

- The new block classrooms have great infrastructure and environment for studying
- some of the faculty are approachable and considerate regarding marks and attendance
- There is a wide range of startup opportunities provided at every turn and point of college life... And starting a startup has been made too easy here.
Dislikes
- The location of college is far away from the main city and is hard to travel to and from.
- 75% criteria is being checked by a broken SAP portal and the system by itself debars the students
- A lot of faculty has no regard for student requests and needs
Placement Experience:
The students can sit in placements from 3rd year itself but mostly do in 4th year... The average packages of most branches are not that great and go for 5lack per annum to 8 lahks... However, CSE placements average from 12 lakhs per annum to 15 lakhs and can go up to 50 lakhs. 80 to 90 per cent of students get placed the rest are however removed at the beginning of the process.
My plans for after the degree are undecided currently.
