Admission to the college is based on the GPTU entrance exam, conducted offline. Admission forms are available online from March. Post-exam, a merit list is generated, and candidates undergo counseling at the campus. The college is known for its excellent infrastructure and experienced faculty, although the curriculum requires more industry-focused studies. As a government institution, it offers a feasible fee structure with scholarships for meritorious, OBC, SC/ST, EWS, and BPL students, supported by the UP government.
Semester fees are 65000 INR, with additional costs such as a 10000 INR registration fee, and 15000 INR/year for a single-room hostel. The MBA integrated course fee is 95000 INR, and non-integrated courses cost around 200000 INR. Hostel stay is mandatory, with possible exceptions for eligible students. Fee relaxation is available for specially-abled students. Placement opportunities are robust, with 80% of students securing jobs. For the latest biotechnology batch, 45 out of 60 students were placed, with packages between 3 to 8 lakh INR, averaging at 5 lakh INR, and a highest offer of 11 lakh INR.
The college benefits from its proximity to industrial hubs, attracting over 70 companies annually, including major recruiters like Honda and Wipro. The placement cell ensures 100% internship opportunities with stipends, alongside workshops and training. Students gain exposure through summer internships, live projects, and industrial visits, with special focus areas such as HR, Sales, Marketing, and Finance for MBA students.
