Remarks

I applied for Dr Harishchandra Gaur University, Sagar but didn't attend because I wanted to take a break year. I was also not sure about my choice of course. After a break year, I took admission to GBU in B.Tech + MBA. I've completed my BTech [graduation] now I'm in the final year of my MBA. For admission, you've to register yourself on the college website. There is an entrance test called GBU-ET which is in CBT mode. This year it will be both online and offline. You can apply for more than one programme at a time and there is a separate fee for each application. For integrated courses, there are chances of upgradation in the 4th year on the basis of vacant seats. After clearing the entrance test there is a counselling session. You can also apply through Valid Test Scores. I gave the test in offline mode and the interview was also offline at that time. There is reservation and relaxation policy according to UP government policy and GBU reservation policy. There is a policy of sports quota also.

They can be tough but if you're thorough with the syllabus then it's not that tough. There are 200+ academic staff and a total of 3200+ students. I chose B.Tech + MBA [integrated] because I have intrest in this line.

There are both single rooms as well as double rooms. Bathrooms are attached to each room. The rooms are fine and good enough. There are rooms with a balcony too. For the hostel, you've to register online on the website and in the offline process you've to fill the offline form. Hostels fees are compulsory but that doesn't mean you've to stay in a hostel you can go home too. Dining services are included in hostel fees. They provide 4 meals a day and there is a different mess for each hostel. The hostel is affordable. Both the quality and taste of the food are amazing. Placement Experience:

This year the placement ratio was significantly low and only few mass hiring companies came to the college. The companies were either startups and have no significant market presence or they were recruiting selective students. The main goal is now to avail a offer off-campus or to change the focus to some other competitive exams for higher studies.

The campus selection have not been good since the pandemic and mostly the top layer is offered job in campus placements. There are many companies that visit our college like Vardhaman, Standard Carpets, Champo, Surya Carpets, Agni, and many more ( You can get the list of company on IICT's official website). The highest package offered was about 10 lakhs by Standard Carpets( Dubai ) and the acerage package is 3-4 lakhs.
