Remarks

In our college, admission is quite simple you just have to pass an entrance exam GBU-ET, when you passed the exam you just have to submit the minimum security and registration fees of 20,000. Counselling and the whole admission is online last year due to the Covid pandemic.

Course Curriculum Overview

GBU is known worldwide for its diverse course curriculum. Biotechnology is one of the skyrocketing branches of medical technology which provides a promising future. Faculty is good all are IITs and national university pass-outs with decades of experience.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 155000 per year

Placement Experience

There are such good placements in the university but there is a placement cell in the college that provides placement of 3 to 8 lac per annum package to most of the students. Around 45 of 60 students of last year of biotechnology branch get placed with an average package of 5 lac per annum (highest 7 lac per annum).

Fees and Financial Aid

The registration fee is 10000 INR. Security fee is 10000 INR. The sports fee is 500 INR. Exam fee is 500 INR. The library fee is 1000 INR. The hostel fee is 15000 INR (single room)/year. The mess fee is 10000/year INR. Academic fees are 65000 INR/semester.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is chill and not much stress. There are many cultural events held twice a year to give break from academic pressure. Abhivyanjana the annual fest of Gautam Buddha University which held around September was the memorable experience of the year, also dawat e gbu, food court event are some highlights of 2k20.

Hostel Facilities

Gautam Buddha University provides a single-room facility to each head with an annual cost of 15000 with facilities of ceiling fan, led, tube light, a study table, a sturdy chair, bed without a mattress. Mess food is average 3/5. There are many pgs nearby but the hostel is compulsory to all as GBU is a residential university.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

Placement Experience:

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

Hostel and Academic review for Gautam Buddha University

I actually got this college through jee mains. This university also conducted entrance exam for admission if you are willing to takeCs or it you can easily go through it limited saets are there. I was planning to do bachelor in Delhi NCR than can main reason to select this college and infrastructure is so good. You can give entrance examination after 12th to get this college or if you are just qualified in jee mains you can also get.
