Dislikes

The college hostel are not good as you were paying 82000 for the 3 sheeter hostel room
The timings of the college is very bad you have to come early in the morning and get departure in the evening.
One thing i disliked about this university that is no proper time of exams

Lighting up the IIMT COLLEGE.

Likes

The faculty members is friendly and supports the students alot.
The infrastructure of the college is good and provide smart classes for better understanding.
They provide guest lecture and conduct alumni lecture for students which is the best part of the college.

Dislikes

The faculty is very strict here . Uniform is mandatory for all course of students.
The cafeteria is less in this college. During the break it become difficult to buy something because of rush and less number of cafeteria.
Sometime they conduct the guest lecture back to back which become hectic for us .

Placement Experience:

The placement of the campus is average for all the course. The average package for MBA is 5lakh and Highest package is 7 to 8 lakh. The college provides various opportunities for the students and opens tha gate towards new vision . IIMT focuses on students to enchane thier intelligence and make them prepared for the challenges being faced by the students.

College management is very cooperative in every aspect and tries to resolve the issues as early as possible. The college provides special emphasis on arranging remedial classes for weaker students. However the college lacks greenery.
The college is well equipped stake of the Art machinery to simulate real life challenges. The campus is surrounded by lot of eateries where students meet and bond with each other which in term enhances their social networking skills.

Likes

College provide multiple facilities to the student regarding the studies and the other stuffs too which help the students in various aspects.
The environment of the uni is healthy and safe as no ragging type of stuff happen here.
The campus amenities and infrastructure is good

Dislikes

I think, they need to work on hostel facilities a little bit so that student can feel more at home
They should provide the AC centralized classroom.
Need to add more stuff meal in the meal table for the hostel students

Placement Experience:

In the 4th semester, student become eligible for the campus placement and various big companies came here for the placement like Asian paints, etc. MBA 2024 batch got the placement and visit us as well as our senior and they shared their experience as well which build morale among us.

Likes

Infrastructure were good and well organised
They organised lots of curriculum activities that enhance our skills
There is a good placement opportunities for the students

Dislikes

Enhancement in teaching methods are required
Sports facilities are not so good and not providing proper training
Attending criteria should be less than 90 percent it is so much for students

Placement Experience:

There is approximately more than 50 percent campus placement . An average percentage greater than 60 percent is required for good placement. After completing of last year or a year before it students are eligible.

Campus was very good.Proper study environment was there.
Campus placement also provided by college.
Teachers were good, even HRD and marketing teachers were best.

Dislikes

Sometimes they provide fake placements which is very embarassing.
There are some teachers and staff who have no sense that how to talk with their students or parents.
Always they try to do formalities rather than focusing on doing things genuinely

Everything was perfect in this exam.It gives you many opportunities to enter into corporate jobs. Timing exams are good. Exams conducted on both shifts as per semesters. And, if I talk about improvements, so there must be some changes done by departments regarding syllabus. There are some irrelevant topics according to me.

Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University isn’t a good option for pursuing technical courses. The curriculum followed by the institute is outdated. You will only learn the theoretical aspects of engineering. It doesn’t offer the practical hands-on experience students require to excel in the technical field.

Most students usually get placed in the IT sector, irrespective of their branches. The highlights of recent AKTU placements show the average package offered by the institute to be around INR 2-3 LPA.
