BHU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students in their final year are eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit the campus and 80% studs are placed in the placement. There is a placement wing on the campus for it. Amazon, Zee news, etc visit the campus. My plan is to start up a business of my idea after completing o my degree.

I choose the ba economics hons because there is good scope in this course and the faculty is also good and qualifications of the teachers is also good and helpful and the timely exam concern and very good facilities.

The course curriculum was vast, well-designed, and updated somewhat regularly (once in 2-3 years). The faculty members were very well qualified (all had PhDs) and very competent and renowned, with multiple research publications to their name. In fact, one of my professors recently was even awarded the very prestigious Fulbright fellowship. Needless to say, the faculty reflect the brand name BHU carries.

I was not looking for a placement from my course because I opted for further studies. But few of my friends got placed in college. Some are in Amazon while some are in all different kinds of ferms. The placement percentage for my course is very less because it's basically a research-based course

I choose this course due to my interest in papers on social sciences from school times especially History, Economy and Geography. Along with that, it was beneficial for my future plan as I aspire to become an IAS officer and the subjects of social science comprise a vast part of its syllabus. The faculty ratio was about 1:60 and in some cases slightly higher depending upon the preference of language of instruction. The faculty here is one of the best among all Indian universities and they are highly knowledgeable and experienced. They know how to groom new students according to future plans and to give a better understanding of their syllabus too. One of the most positive things about BHU is its examination system. Term-end exams are very timely and results are also published on time. Exams are conducted in a good and fair environment. Passing examinations are not difficult if you are regularly studying the syllabus in classes. You can get high grades by having preparations.

Placements depend on the nature of the course, students in the fifth or sixth semester can apply for participation in the placement drive. A lot of companies visit for placement like TCS, Infosys, etc. A lot of student gets placement.

I opt this course because I have to go for the teaching line so therefore I opt for BA. The faculty here is very cooperative they help the students a lot and also the teachers are highly qualified. The exams held here are very hard to pass if you do not focus on your studies.

From last semester students are eligible for campus placement. there are many good and big companies visiting bhu for placement and there is a good package according to your skill and approx 70%student can get placement in BHU.

I chose this course as I have some interest in Psychology and I am very optimistic about its scope studying this subject at BHU Is a great thing in itself. Faculty to student ratio is good for psychology but not very good for subjects like economics, and history because of the huge strength of these courses. Term examinations are conducted on time and the examination level is moderate but the marking is not really good. The majority of the students get marks between 70-78 percentage. To score above 80 is really tough as the marking is not very accommodating Overall the exposure you get here is commendable and one of the best points for taking admission here.

Form 5th semester students are eligible for the placement, but it is not very much sure. The students of the foreign language department usually get placement. Recently a BA German student got placed this year only and the package was about 20 LPA. My plan after graduation is to do post-graduation form BHU and prepare for UGC NET Examination.
