VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Since I'm a first year my knowledge of placements and such is limited and not very accurate, I've tried my best. Students are eligible for placement in their final year. The opportunities for biotech in India are not very appealing so most pursue a Ph.D. after the course either in India or abroad. The average package afaik is 4L p/a and the highest package to date is 12L p/a for this course. My plan is to do a semester or project abroad after meeting my credits requirement by the 4th year and then moving on to a Ph.D.

Students get eligible for placements on campus in the last semester, there are a lot of multinational companies which comes for campus placements, the highest placement of BSC Computer Science this year was 21 lakh rupees per annum and the average package is somewhere between 2 to 3 lakhs per annum if you don't have any backlog and your CGPA is also very good then you will definitely get placed so the percentage of student placement depends upon the student only. I will do M.Sc in Computer Science from VIT Vellore only after my graduation after that I will sit for placement.

I have to choose the BSc in Visual Communication because I would like it and also my ambition. The College Technology is very latest and the Teaching Method is easy to convey to the students, it's also very good. Term exams time is Two hundred off hours and it's not difficult to pass.

5th semester I have been, eligible for the campus interview, a lot of companies visited our college, and a lot of offered jobs. High profile company offers the 50000 salaries worth job as well, there is average 15000 . 70%of students get jobs.

I chose the college and course because I like Hotel management person, and the faculty was good enough, they were highly qualified and good teaching, but the methodology was good and the exams will be conducted often and it's easy to pass also.

From 3 rd year 2 nd sem, the placement will be started if u maintain a good percentage in ur semesters then the job offers will be in front of you as soon as. Wipro, TCS, Tata, Mahindra, and some pharma companies like Cipla BlueCross and Drreddys. 21 lakhs is the highest package which has good knowledge and good English spoken skills and also percentage will offer high packages. Out of 100,90 percent of students will get job everyone will be trained like that from starting y year and make them prepared for the job to give outstanding performance. My plan is I have to do a job for 2 years to get good experience and want to go for higher studies of pg to aboard.

Suitable environment, all the facilities were provided, avoiding daily transportation, the tuition fees, the subjects in the course I opted, studying pattern(FFCS), hostel facilities, clubs and chapters, experienced faculties

I liked the course of Integrated Masters in Science and there are few colleges which offer such a course. There are BSC colleges but integrated courses are scarce. Moreover Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore has gained fame for its campus life and placement opportunities.

The weather of Vellore is the only problem so far, rest all facilities are more than satisfaction, the campus is quite big so you need to run a lot throughout the day to attend classes at different buildings.
