VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Choosing this course because recent time Biotechnology is a growing sector,in this field you can do higher studies and you can get job also. Faculty is more than enough. Most of the faculty highly qualified.Every one is PhD holder many of them are also Post-doc.They taught realy well Every subject have Assignments.For assignment some of faculty pressurized student a little bit. Every approximately 1.2 month there is a internal which is 50 marks And final is 100 marks.Total 2 internal and a Final exam. For passing the exam student must be followed faculty ppt and notes.

Placement opportunities are high in vit with amazon offering 1 crore packages and much more For science field the pay is less but compared to other colleges vit gives u more options for jobs to chiose from

Students are eligible for campus placement for 3rd year/6th semester almost every student who shows up for campus placement is offered a job and the college has some of the highest placements. The highest package as per my knowledge is 1.02 crores and the average package is about 7lakh per annum. The percentage of students getting placed is almost 100%. I plan on pursuing my PhD and then my post-doctorate.

I personally choose this course because I had a great interest in chemistry. The faculties at VIT are quite good they are well-qualified and experienced. Their teaching methods are also inspiring. There are 3 exams in one term namely CAT 1, CAT 2, and term exam. CAT 1 is a usual unit test type exam, CAT 2 is an open book exam which is difficult to crack, and the term exam is as usual term exam type. They provide equal importance for experimental studying as theoretical studying. We have many projects assigned in each term.

In 3rd semester students were eligible for campus placements. Fifteen-plus companies recruit students. Most 9 cgpa students will mostly get placed in super dream jobs and maintain 8cgpa to get placed, most of the students go for Ph.D. than jobs.

I chose the course as I want to do higher studies in the field and have a career in the R&D field. I got to know that the university provides enormous resources and support in research. The curriculum is specifically designed for getting ready for industry-level research and basic research. The current faculty-to-student ratio is about 1 to 20. The exam system is a bit different from other universities, there are two Continuous Assessment Tests (CAT1 and CAT2) and a final assessment test (FAT), and 3 internal tests for each subject and in each semester. The CATs are 50 marks reduced to 30 and Fat is 100 marks reduced to 40 and three internal exams are of 10 marks each. Its grading system is relative grading. In the interval of each 20-23 days, there are exams. Internals are being held in between cats and fat.

In the final semester itself, VIT provides placements, and students with all clear are eligible for placement. The company visited are CaratLane, Birla soft, CaratLane, Amazon, and leap green, with a minimum of a 4 LPA, and 70% of students placed.

From the last semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. more companies are coming and giving opportunities to many students for their futures. the highest average per company offers is 100000 placements.

Placement eligibility- From the starting of the final year students can apply for the companies. Companies visited- TCS, CTS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, AMAZON, UPGRADE, ACCENTURE, CAPGEMINI, etc., Salary- Upto 20 CTC salary packages are offered and an average of 6 CTC as dream offers Students placement- The great thing in VIT is getting placed as my experience because before leaving the institute 95% are placed. My plan after getting the degree is to go for a job which I got through campus

Upcoming research field physics based science background play the main role in general physics we can do whatever after the MSC also so I took the general physics and professor are all well mannered and friendly to teach best experiences I had some of the top universities in India vit Vellore I all most top in research so I choose this place to develop now I am working in iisc Bangalore because of best research experiments in vit I had the best lab and all kind of experiments and testing methods available and you can easily get access to anything.
