The curriculum of mbbs is known as CBME competency based medical education. this aims in producing a competent doctor. CBME includes aetcom to improve doctor patient relationship.case based learning, self directed learning, reasearch papers are also included.

Our course is based on CBME curriculum which is a good curriculum in India for medical education . Competency based medical education is one of the good method of teaching which mostly concentrates on practical education than virtual education .

Here internship is there not like placement After 4.5 years of course 1 year of internship period is there . They give stipend around ? 25,000 per month during internship period and some pg also there

The exams are unpredictable. sometimes easy sometimes it feels like they were created to fail you. The course curriculum could have been more student friendly . It's difficult for the professors also to handle both the patients and students..m

The curriculum was based on clinical and patient interaction which influenced me to choose this course. I like to interact with the patients which I like .I also like the diagnosis and investigation of the patient to find the pathogenesis and rule out diseases and find out the probable disease the patient has.The curriculum is very good for real world applications like doing a CPR to save the patient and also for assessing the medical conditions of patient. The areas for improving course curriculum could be where cases are discussed and teaching could be case-oriented. The frequency of exams could be reduced like one exam in 2 weeks. The exams could be more case-oriented. But anyhow I am satisfied with the course curriculum and Teaching methods

Nowadays since 2019 we are following new cbme curriculum which includes aetcom, sdl and other things which makes the students to gain knowledge apart from the text books. It also makes us gain more knowledge in clinical aspects also.

i choose this because my dads dream so i am living that dream and i have so much interested to learn medicine and do well fare work for poor people, this is noble profession also love to serve people and sees them smiling
