Course Curriculum Overview

5

Life long learning curriculum made me to join this college And the professors also following the NMC's CBME curriculum Exam timing is 3 hours like that in the university paper and difficulty level is above average

Internships Opportunities

4

After 4.5 years of course they give 1 year internship period for training doctors who recently finished final year MBBS and taught by well experienced doctors and the internship period very useful to learn new many cases

Placement Experience

5

Here internship is there not like placement After 4.5 years of course 1 year of internship period is there . They give stipend around ? 25,000 per month during internship period and some pg also there

Fees and Financial Aid

College tution fees ? 18,073 Hostel security deposit ? 24,000 Book fees ? 20,200 Hostel mess fees ? 5000 to 6000 Record notes fees and practical fees ? 3000 And may be some other fees be included while doing admission

Campus Life

5

They are conducting one event every year That event name is called "SYNAPSE" And library is also there to learn and mostly all sports are there including cricket also and laboratory facilities in the college is very nice

Hostel Facilities

5

Rooms they gave by neatly cleaned and 2 fans and 3 lights are there and room floor is by tiles so easy to maintain for both boys and girls and hostel mess food is nice because students council is nicely maintained

Admission

1st I got admitted to Govt theni medical college but the hostel in that college is little bit bad I think it is not peace to study from that hostel after that in 2nd round of counselling I got govt vellore medical college In that college boys hostel is nice

Faculty

5

1st the doctors are well experienced and talented professors are here For each 15 to 20 students 1 mentor is there And they are conducting 7 internal assessment in each subjects based on NMC schedule And most of the students get passed in the exam around 60 to 65%

Night Life

5

Night life is nice only but they are suggesting to not to go outside because we dont know who are patients and all. So hostel gate timings for boys and girls for 1st year is eve upto 5 30 pm and from 2nd year onwards there will be no restrictions

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
