The course is very nice and a future growth course. The opportunity of our course is more welcome than other courses. And my faculty staff and my friends are good. For my concern future growth will be considered to select the course. Student ratio _60/ each class depending on preference.
I chose a food technology course that had a unique syllabus in this college compared with the other institute. The main that I joined this course was, I was very interested in learning about food and about their technologies and this was also something different from all other general engineering courses. The faculties are very well trained and has more than 5-6 years of experience not only in teaching but also in the field of research, which makes us get involved in the subject even more. The teaching sessions are always so interactive with the teachers. We have 2 semesters in a year and have a mid-semester before the final exams, which would reduce the burden of us studying all the portions at the last minute. The exams are conducted to test our practical and our theory skills, which would be easy when you prepare well for it.

Course curriculum seems to be bit tough, but with well learned faculties and well equipped labs this toughness can be changed. Academic department has been a bit down considering the results and pass percentage. The faculties are well experienced in their fields with most of them having a doctorate in their own subjects.

Both TNAU and TANUVAS are relatively similar institutions because they are state-run universities. There is no major difference between the two universities in terms of their infrastructure and faculty members.
However, when compared on higher levels, then TNAU can be considered slightly better than TANUVAS, regardless of their resemblance in academic profiles.

Course Fee | 4.64 lakhs |
Course Duration | 4 years |
Average CTC | 10-12 LPA |

Having said that, it is always a better idea to try for other institutes like CFTRI, IIFPT, or NIFTEM for receiving better exposure, alongside a greater knowledge base.
