Life of agrians in KIA

Likes

Peaceful and calm environment which helps me keep my mind calm
Friendly management and staffs who are easyly approachable

Dislikes

High fee structure and absence of listing it out
Tonnes and Tonnes of syllabus which seems impossible to complete in one semester

Internships Opportunities:

Every agriculture student in his final year attains a course called RAWE where u rent a house in a rural village and interact with the farmers there amd know there daily life there At the end you have to present your experience

The surroundings are clean and greenish.College is surrounded by mountains
Staffs are very kind and polite. They take care of students

Dislikes

Mess food is not that much good but okay
Hostel facilities are not good. Small rooms are not available.

Placement Experience:

Student not have any arrear for placement.. The interview is done at TNAU Coimbatore. Salary Start from 15000 to 25000.. If you are no place man then we can focus on group exams.. After getting my dear focus on group exam . TNPSC is one of the best group exam in Tamilnadu..

Life at TNAU

Likes

Teacher to student ratio is comparatively very good as each year has an average of 40- 55 students. This provides a holistic study environment.
Availability of Student run Clubs which builds up leadership, teamwork and managerial skills among the students. A lot of college functions are whole heartedly conducted by the students teaching them financial managements and to handle responsibility

Dislikes

Lengthy college hours from 7.30am till 5pm class hours
80% attendance system which was too much.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships can be done in any two sectors among the three availabile- hospital, industry, lab. Our college has tie-up with some esteemed hospitals, industries and laboratories all over Tamilnadu and even in some part of Kerala and Andhra. Internship is for a duration of 45- 45 days Followed by a seminar presentation on the outcome of learning and an exhibition. It gives us handson skill learning

Likes

The main thing I like about my college is its infrastructure.
Then I like field practical studies which is captivating

Dislikes

Mess food is not quite palatable. It needs to be corrected.
Even though the classes are interesting, timing of classes is lengthy.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is limited nowadays. The salary package holds an average amount of 30000 rupees . Percentage of students attempting and getting placement is mid. I have planned for post graduate in genetics.

University power on education is good and excellent
Infrastructure of the university and my college is awesome

A closer look: ADAC and RI

Likes

The college atmosphere is very good, an walk around the college makes your stress go down. The fruits around the college can also be consumed without any restrictions.
The college motivates and supports students in sports and culturals and various functions are conducted to get out the talents of the students.

Dislikes

Record works are more that you cannot study every day when you are an average student. You will be ultimately forced to study a day before exam which is very difficult.

Internships Opportunities:

Frequent intership opportunities are provided by the college. AMRIT internship which was recently offered provided 6 thousand per month for 3 months. Within that 3 months the student must collect details of farmers from the alloted village.

College timings are not bad.. Because 7.30 am to 5.30pm .so i wish to tell that one thing has to be changed

Placements are offered in our college. At the end of the batch, we had received a lot of campuses. All top companies are offering us. In 7 th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Avg package of company _ 300000/ year, Percentage of students getting placement _ 80%.

There is a all India tour which is the only thing i like

Dislikes

Even for a government college the fee is high
Classes begin from 7:30 and goes on upto 5:30

Placement Experience:

There are placements for the students passing out but the jobs usually don't pay more than 15000 per month on average. The placements are not always equal to all departments like food technology department gets the most placements and biotechnology and other departments almost get no placements. The new management is doing a lot to improve the placement program.

Campus environment is green and clean, 800 acres in city centre
Every professor has submitted many papers and has a strong research knowledge

Dislikes

Class timings would be from 7 30 am to 5 30 pm
Distance between some departments would be half a km long

Here internship is a compulsory 12-week off-campus activity where students are sent to multiple institutions across the country and even some went abroad. Students generally apply for icar institutions outside Tamil nadu.
