SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

According to my observation students where able to grab placements from their 6 semester. There are many MNCs which comes to the campus which includes Amazon,Microsoft and mass recruiters like infosys and etc. This year the highest package as of october is 52 lakhs and it was offered to one person. Around 90% of the student's get placed and the rest 10% are left behind because of their arrears or other interests. I plan to crack a package above 10lpa and after few years I will be starting my own start up in my interested domain.

The course curriculum are good only. It covers mostly industry relevant side and we will gain lots and lots of practical knowledge over there and the faculty will help us to do all the projects and papers

I selected this course expecting benifits ,but the application process has been extremely difficult.My teachers teaching methods are very good,I really appreciate it.I choose this course thinking it would suit me,but the application and exam schedule adjustment have been difficult.

From the 9th and 10th semester students are eligible for placements which the faculties prepare them for very nicley.Almost 90% os students gets job offer and few opt for external offering..I personally am looking forward for college placements.Companies like wipro,Infosys have offered job..The highest Package is 50 Lakhs whwreas the lowest is 5 lakhs P.A

Placements are good . Atleast we ll get some 4lpa in service companies like tcs, wipro,accenture, capgemini, cognizent. If u want to aim for higher package u have to study in cse groups. Other wise we cant expect higher pacakges.

I had a bit of interest in AI which is why I took up the specialization. You can take CSE core and choose subjects later if you want (is cheaper too, we learnt it late). The curriculum keeps updating every 3 years but some subjects like chemistry, physics and biology were there in first year (which went way too deep). Lab hours are limited and no one takes it seriously so the college doesn't "prepare" us for the industry I'd say.

I am eligible after the 1 year to get placement and no company yet came here after first year the company call for placement The avarage package is 500000 and many have placed after the degree I use to go for a job

Well I heard the placements are fine here. Average is like 7.5 lakhs or something which is actually less compared to the fee you are paying here but still if you are too good in the course you have taken, then you can get good placements because companies like Amazon, Microsoft and all comes here for placement so better improve our skills and that's it

The cociriculam acmay be have attracted me due to its allinmed current industry trends and inclusion of practical components case studies and interns ships and honds on projects courses that offer updated content related to emerging technology

This curriculum has really benefited me . It has really helped me prepare for the real world The faculty has taught all the necessary soft ware to become a graphic designer and all the necessary photography methods to become a photographer The curriculum can be improved by exploring more about the world of direction and film making. The timing of the exams have no issue.
