- Culture and people coming from various locations all over india.
- Some international students ll also be there we can interact with various types of culture and people.
- College architecture and freedom. And course structure.
Dislikes
- Location is difficult to reach from chennai city.
- When it rains its over flooded and when its hot its too much we can bear it in chennai.
Placement Experience:
Placements are good . Atleast we ll get some 4lpa in service companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, capgemini, cognizent. If u want to aim for higher package u have to study in cse groups. Other wise we cant expect higher pacakges.

- There are certain professors who are really good at engaging the students. They are pretty approachable.
- The college is in the city right next next to the metro station. Plus theres also a mall next to it.
- Although not enough, the college conducts many programs and events.
Dislikes
- The classrooms are not maintained (the projectors have issues, they aren't centred properly).
- There's an attendance criteria of 75% for credit and non credit subjects.
- There is no extra curriculars at the college since 2/3s of the college campus is SIMS hospital and medical college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I had a bit of interest in AI which is why I took up the specialization. You can take CSE core and choose subjects later if you want (is cheaper too, we learnt it late).
The curriculum keeps updating every 3 years but some subjects like chemistry, physics and biology were there in first year (which went way too deep).
Lab hours are limited and no one takes it seriously so the college doesn't "prepare" us for the industry I'd say.

- Really good campus environment. It’s very neat and tidy with a lot of shops and places to enioy.
- The management is not strict. You can talk to anyone at anytime unless you are in class. I heard that in some colleges, they won’t let you speak with the opposite gender.
- The college provides a lot of materials and opportunities to improve yourself and your career
Dislikes
- ROI (Return of Investment) might be very low. We will be paying around 20 lakhs for 4 years and compared to that, the average package in SRM is very low.
- Most of the teaching faculties are not even fluent in English
- A lot of written work even tho you are a Computer Science student. They literally make you write codes instead of typing them in a compiler which makes zero sense.
Student Snaps:
Placement Experience:
Well I heard the placements are fine here. Average is like 7.5 lakhs or something which is actually less compared to the fee you are paying here but still if you are too good in the course you have taken, then you can get good placements because companies like Amazon, Microsoft and all comes here for placement so better improve our skills and that's it

- I liked that the campus was quite big and open. With lot of free space to walk and roam of outside class
- I like how cheap food is there and it is really clean and hygenic without the fear of germs
- The faculty is dedicated to getting the knowledge to students
Dislikes
- What i disliked was that all the faculty was of the local area. As much as they advertised their faculty being diverse from different regions of the country, that was not the case
- Also the boys to girls ratio is quite high . In our class of 60 stidents there are only about 10 girls
- The hostel are very low standard and the services they provide in accordance with the hostel fee they charge is not satisfactory
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course is B.tech. When i completed my 12th i was looking and asking all my seniors and senior cousins about the opportunities i should explore and the kind of course i should do. And they all recommended computer science so thats why i choose it. According to me in todays world AI is developing quite fast and everything we do or use has a hint of technology to it. So one has to have his/her way with computers
