As I chose btech because I like to do some sort of mechanical jobs. In this course, the syllabus is somewhat tough because it has a large variety of subjects. I will suggest the university to minimise the number of subjects in each sem other things are all right During exams, we will be given study leaves for 2 weeks It's our wish to stay in the room or go for any classes

College placement is good around 90% of students are placed from each batch. They just have to keep their academic good perform good in studies and non academics. They will be get placed in shipping giants from around the world overall placement is good even if u don't get placed from college they will provide you assistance from outside

The course curriculum is not that much perfect as in every sem's duration is not fixed . But every sem's compilation of subject is very good. The course consist of all required subjects necessary for the development of a marine engineering cadet.

pacements are provided by the college but it depends on course to course like for bsc nutical science there is 1005 placement whre as for btech me there is almost 95% placement rate it a very good number and proper support is provided by the college management for placement

Our college is providing good placement before our completion of course, the various companies are coming which are molmi , molta , fleet , bw maritime, Goodwood, sanmark, eastaway , vr maritime , marshall, etc

My course is bsc nautical science when I complete this 3 year course I am eligible to go onboard ship for 12 months training on ship.this influence me to choose this course as it has both practical and theory knowledge. The curriculum prepares you for becoming officer on ship in deck department where the uppermost is captain. I thing teaching methods is good here but need to add more practical classes The exams are not that difficult if you study well you will come out with flying colours

There has been a slight drop in our placements from time to time due to recession in maritime community but still if you are good in studies and top30-40% of the batch you will find no problem in getting placed , some companies visiting us are osm thome , chevron , nyk , mol and many more the highest salary provided in lng carriers of nyk that is 1200 dollars per month

Campus Placement is good as big companies comes here for placement and take good amount of cadets every year. Your salary depends on company and ship type you are sailing in . Companies like Pacific Basin , MOL etc

After 5 th semester students are become eligible for campus placement. In fifth semester itself we can start for campus placement. Many top company such as maskline, Anglo eastern , MSC, Evergreen are visiting our college. And offer a job for 70% of students of our college. In our college 10lakh per annum is highest package for traine marine engineer job in evergreen company. About 70 to 80 percentage of the students are placed per year. I'm also appear for interview in my 5 th semester.

Well we only have 1 year here so we are placed in the beginning of the year itself. There are many companies like synergy, BW, EPS and have offered 20000-30000. The packages range from 25000-50000. All the students here get placed so it is 100% placement here at tolani maritime institute. After my degree I'll go for cadet ship for 18 months with my company.
