CU Tamil Nadu Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

My university central university of Tamilnadu located in a remote area. University provides Integrated/MA/Msc courses in various subjects.Will be getting placements after post graduation. Duration of one semester is 4 months as of now. We are having enough infrastructure facilities.

MSc Chemistry is a versatile course. Each class had a strength of 45 including integrated MSc students. The department has enough highly qualified faculties as well as research facilities. Classes are interactive and each year has 2 semesters and exams at the end.

Integrated courses is much better than normal ug courses so you can finish ug and pg in a go. CUTN Chemistry department is DST FIST sponsered So we will get more chances in the chemistry lab facilities including modern equipment. Here they are allowing us to do project in our 4th year under experienced mentors. Faculty members mainly are 9 including 3 associate professors. They are also providing,phD,MSC Chemistry, Diploma along with Integrated 5year course Faculties are all well experienced in their field and published many journals.Most of them did their post doc researches abroad. During 1sem 1 guest faculty and 1 associate professor was there.Lab was conducted under the guidance of a assistant professor and another professor. Exam was conducted on time and result also published within a month. Sem exams are difficult to a certain range but an average student can pass the exam.

The faculties are very talented and well knowledgeable. They also know many languages. So that we can improve our speaking skills from bilingual to multilingual. They conduct semester exams only like other colleges. The faculties never let us get mug up so that we can pass the examinations very easily.

Placements is very less as most of the students want to pursue higher education in case of my program. I want to prepare for civil services exams. Some nearby schools are coming for Placements but there package is very low ..so most of the students don't want to go.

I prefer M.com for a study about commerce field more, and I would like study 2 more years. So I prefer M.com. Here I get good experienced faculties classes. They are highly qualified and well experienced. They are Ph.D. holders in the commerce field. Here they conduct correct semester exams and I hope exams are not much more difficult.
