- The first thing I like in my university is my department. It has very good instrumentation facilities for the carrying out of smooth research work.
- Infrastructure is quite good. Adequate facilities are available.
Dislikes
- The locality where the college is located is inaccessible. You will not be able to find many ways to reach the university.
- Life outside the campus is boring as it is situated in a village.
Placement Experience:
Regarding my course about 10 to 20% students get placed in firms like TCS, Aakash Byjus, Federal Bank, Infosys etc. About 60% students continue with higher studies as our course is a research oriented course. The research of students prepare for competitive exams like GATE, NETand other central government exams.

After finishing 7 semester In 8th semester that is that final semester of this course In that semester students are eligible for placements For this course placements will be in school teachers Highest package will be 40000 Lowest package wil be 25000 Percentage of students getting placements - 40% My plans after finishing this course is I wanna do masters in performing arts

- Hostel life, it is an amazing experience

- Security staffs not behaving properly to students
- Roads are not good majority of area broken

The department provides placement and internship in last semester, The internship arranged by the department for every students, last year my seniors got placement average salary of 15k to 20k I hope I will get it

- Fresh and calm surroundings, we wake up with peacock and sunrise, sunset, clouds, stars are at the best view from CUTN
- Get to interact with people from different states, learn their languages, get to know their culture as well.

- Infrastructure is good but i wish it is well maintained

From last sem of 5th year placements will be offered, students go through interviews for various companies, I'm not sure about the packages. I would recommend the students to study even after getting placements in here because we aren't sure about the assurance they give

One of the major objectives of MSE is to equip our youngsters to meet this crying need. The approach adopted in our graduate program strives to provide the students a good foundation in economic principles & theory and to enable meaningful application of this knowledge to a wide range of issues. They are equipped with the knowledge and facility to use the necessary quantitative tools. The emphasis is to encourage an economic way of thinking. last year in 2014-15, 85% got placed in different sector through the on campus with the average salary of 55,000. - Conduts different kind of study programs departmental base and overall base which helps as to grow our career, there is also a 24 hours health center which is very helpful
- Promots all kind of culturs by oranganising cultural festivals of different states, that makes feel comfortable for the students coming from diffrent states
Dislikes
- All shops inside campus will close at 9 or 9.30 after that we can't get anything inside the campus
Placement Experience:
They are providing placements in the final semester not guaranteed placement , placement assistance. There is an active placement cells that arrange interviews and other placemet assistance for students.
Likes
- Speaking about the faculties in Microbiology department of Central University of Tamil Nadu, they're really helpful and cooperative. They help you in academics as well as help you to get into internship opportunities
- Hostel has been a big positive attraction. They are well built. The infrastructure is attractive and you can feel home
Dislikes
- Mess food can be of poor quality at times. People used to fall sick occassionally
- The university is situated in the remote backgrounds of Thiruvarur. So for emergency situations, you need to travel a bit for getting things
Internships Opportunities:
I've done one month internship in the university and the university provides us the chance to do internship here itself. If we are interested to go outside, the department helps us with the recommendation letters. The placement is pretty rare when coming to life science field. But companies like Federal Bank etc conducts campuss placement which offers job placement for students from all departments.
