Faculty:

The facuities were mostly passed out from IITs with the remarkable academic background, the Marks were given in Cgpa structure with semesters having 80 marks and 20 Marks in internal exam which also includes class performances, behaviour, attendance etc.

A Hidden Story of Central University of Tamilnadu

Campus life is ok ok not so good, and also here the faculty is from different states so they have lot of experiences

In our physics department total 11 faculty is there and in my class total 33 students is there, there is a very good relationship between students and faculties and they are approachable and helping nature towards the students. I like the most the faculty his name is Dr. Sampurn Anand and reason behind liking him his honesty and hardwork towards the teaching and his efforts to deliver the concept and to explain all the topics to all the classmates. There are 3 internals happend in each semester and it happens for 30 marks and 10 for assignments and attendence and some thers, and end semester occurs of 60 marks. The level of exam are moderate and average and not that much difficult and not so hard. Course curriculum is very relevant and helps to support the comptetive exam preperation and helps to understand the nature of course.

Qualified professors who is ready to help us.

Faculty member for my course ( m com) was very good fellas who were ready to give any help in academic way and if we ask for permission to any programme that all was very approachable. The thing is if we re ready then they also will help. Exams was in semester basis with CBCS( choice based credit system)

Way to CUTN

Professors are very easy to approach. Quite ambience.

My course is a two year master's in chemistry. The last semester is completely for project... We wll involve in the project cell after the 1st semester itself... As the students can opt their project guide in 1st semester itself...every semester there will be 2 internals and minimum mark is required to pass the the internal also as it will be taken to the final result.

CUTN - A mixed bowl of everything

Faculties are were good, young as well as experienced professor's are there for each subject. Economics having around 8 - 11 professors who completed their degrees from UoH, JNU etc. As number of students are less compared to other places we are having a strong and healthy student professor ratio here.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Most of the faculty members are reachable.

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:13. Barring some, faculties are mostly interactive and are fairly approachable. Dr. Gopal Krishna Roy - a gem of a faculty, is very patient and teaches in a very structured manner. Dr. Naveen Srinivasan - also the dean of the programme, is a master at what he does best - storytelling and macroeconomics. Dr. Zareena Begum I - fairly irregular and she doesn't teach well. Two internals and one end sem. Difficulty depends on the faculty taking the course. Endsems tend to be easier. On an average, 4-5 students flunk in each paper, each semester. The course curriculum is a mix of traditional theory like Linear Algebra, Micro, Macro and practical subjects like Data Science, MS Excel.

Comprehensive review of Central University of Tamil Nadu

Professors take regular classes even students sometimes misses there class but they didn't.
Faculty are highly qualified almost all of them had studied from foreign countries and even two professors were full bright scholarships studied in countries such as Germany and USA

Dislikes

Only prefer English language they may be considered as a barrier for non english students

As already mentioned, faculty were highly qualified and they take proper classes and on time and also complete all syllabus on time and curriculum is properly organised and all the things are future visionary.

BA Economics hons MSE review

Staff lore is very good in MSE. Most of the staffs encourage doubts and are also willing to have conversations with you. Faculties are knowledgeable and they know there stuff very well. They take much interests if you reach out to them through mail.

The faculty to student ratio is decent because the average class size is about 60-65 not more than that. And as i previously mentioned the staff lore in MSE is very good and they know there stuff. But in classes, they just give you general ideas about there subjects but they are very open to have one to one conversations with the students. They are easily approachable in my opinion. We have 2 internals and one end semester and they are easy to clear and score if you understand the concepts well and study whatever materials the respective faculties provide you. And the number of students who fail clear the exams varied from the different batches but its usually 10-12% of the class strength. Our math faculty Dr Poorna Pushpakala is one of my favourite faculties here. She gives us in depth insights about the subject and she is very proficient in her subject. The faculty I didn't really like was our English teacher because she treated us like highschoolers but other than that the its good.

Exams are not that much tough or too easy, if you study well in the class you can crack the exam easily. Curriculum is good enough to cover all the areas in the subject. And also it is very up to date.

Speaking about the faculties in Microbiology department of Central University of Tamil Nadu, they're really helpful and cooperative. They help you in academics as well as help you to get into internship opportunities

The faculties are well qualified and literally everyone are having Phd and are engaged in some research works. They've got numerous scholars under them too. The faculties are always willing to help us out and they even teach pretty well. Apart from minor flaws from one or two faculties, the rest are actually good
