The first time admission fee was 16000 with 7000 hostel fee. The semester admission fees is around 12000-14000 with the exam fees of 1200-1400. The scholarship can be applied are national scholarships and State scholarships.

A Hidden Story of Central University of Tamilnadu

Fees and Financial Aid:

As i am a student of Integrated master in physics so i paid per semester tution fee as 8900Rs till the 2nd year means till 4th semester, after that 5th semester onward i paid 9790Rs per semester as a ttion fee. As i am outside of the state of Tamilnadu so i didn't get any scholorship. For ther categories the tution fee is same but they use to get scholorship as the return of their tution fee, those students are from near by the state of Tamilnadu and kerala. Scholorship like Sc, St scholorship and Study 4 buddy scholorship and some government scholorship for students in Tamilnadu. As hostel fee for a general category students they have to pay 2000Rs per semester in a year. Some other category they don't have to pay that hostel fee.

A good place to stay in and study.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I was studied my m com in Central University of Tamil Nadu, the fee structure was fair enough to afford. In the first sem it was around 7000, second sem- 5000, 3- 6000, and 4-7000. Hostel fee was 1500 per sem, there might be pretty much increase in the hostel fees. I got the scholarship of government Kerala named scholarship for outside state studying students.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The college best if you are very interested in academic especially for science students. The college has minimum fee structure compared to other college for both academics and daily expenses. Good reservation also provided by the university. The college is eco-friendly. Very easy to approach the professors for academic purposes.

CUTN - A mixed bowl of everything

Fees and Financial Aid:

While I joined the course, I had to pay a sum of 10000 rupees which included admission fee, 1st sem fee and other deposits. Yes yearly there is an increase in free by 5%- 10%. Then coming to hostel fee, it was around 2000 while I join, but now it's around 3000

The rigour of the course is very intense. The syllabus which is followed here is intense and rigorous. Its unique compared to the syllabus offered in other colleges of India.
They provide a lot of guest lectures which gives us a lot of exposure and we get to know how economics works in the real life policy making sectors.

Fees and Financial Aid:

For the first sem, you are required to pay ?60,000 and also a development fee of ?30,000. This is the same for the students of all category but with very negligible concession for the students from belonging to categories other than general. Per sem fees remains the same which is ?60,000. If you opt for hostels then its ?90,000 per year. You are required to pay seperately for food each month and the payment depends upon whether you are opting for veg or non veg. And in the following semesters, if you are the top 3 highest scoring student you get some fee wavers.

The life at CUTN

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tution fee per semester falls almost 17600 per student. Which is actually pretty justifying considering the weightage of the course. We have the opportunity to get scholarship, so that almost our entire tuition gets covered under this. The hostel fees is just 2000 for 6 months which is very formidable. Coming to placement part, certain department offer campuss placement while life science department won't. The departments do help you to get into internship at the University or elsewhere.
