Hostel life of the campus is very good i really liked the hostel
Fresh and calm surroundings, we wake up with peacock and sunrise, sunset, clouds, stars are at the best view from cutn
The faculties are always willing to help us out and they even teach pretty well.

Dislikes

Mess food can be of poor quality at times. People used to fall sick occassionally
The university is situated in the remote backgrounds of Thiruvarur. So for emergency situations, you need to travel a bit for getting things
Bus facilities to town is a problem. There is a single bus that takes you from University to Thiruvarur and they run only 4 times a day

Remarks:

Good is that course is not very burdensome. Mess food is not very good, very faculties don't know about their subjects and cancel classes most of the time. But 95 % of them are good only

Remarks:

If placement is your ultimate objective and you want to enjoy your college life then MSE is the best place. If you want to purse research then got DSE/ISI/IGIDR/JNU but don't go to MSE.

Remarks:

Good remarks is always teachers and campus life, bad remarks is that they need proper administration facilities to survive because sometimes students have to run for 1 month for getting signature of VC, but day by day it is increasing.

Entrance Preview:

The entrance which i took was CUCET, which used to be conducted at all India level. Its really a tough exam because only 30 seats are available for each course. I choose doing MSc in Economics over Engineering because in my 12th i had Science plus Economics and i want to serve India with my ability, skills in Economics.
