LNMIIT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As I am in the 1 semester all the students of Y23 have the same subject no matter their branch. There are multiple exams and quizzes all according to the CIF of the course. We have our mid-semester and end-semester. 1 semester consists of 14 weeks and approx. 52 classes per course.

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. Right now I have no idea about which company Visited and didn't give any offer. Last year highest package was 1 Cr and the lowest was around 5-6 lacs. Overall a good percent of students get placed including both off campus and on campus.

As I am in 1st year I don't have any idea about the placements that are going on but on paper, placements look pretty good. The average package is approx 16 lpa. Almost 90 percent of students were placed last year.

I have taken up CSE out of my interest in programming and data science. The faculty is quite supportive and each course faculty has 1:150 faculty student ratio. All the faculties are highly qualified and PhDs from IITs, or foreign universities such as Cambridge, Oxford etc. Their method of teaching is overall okay, definitely there is some improvement needed. The mid and end sems exams are conducted in end of september and beginning of December respectively. The exams are set based on assignments which do have pretty good questions and can only be solved if practice is dine beforehand.

Computer science has the highest scope that's why I chose this course and the coding culture of this college is also good. The student-faculty ratio is about 50:1. Most of the faculties are PhD holders. But in my case, I have got new faculties who have just now joined the college. The term exams are once in 5 months (approx).

The placement in the college are decent. The college is famous for its coding culture. The students become eligible for placements in the 6th semester. Various companies like Deloitte, Adobe, Media.net, Tekion etc. visit the college. In total around 60-70 companies visit the college. Around 390 offers were made this year and around 90% of the registered students were placed. My plan is to get a good placement from the college and pursue the job and will look for a master's degree in the future if needed.

From the 7th semester i.e. 4th year a student is eligible for placement (not considering internship). Many companies visited on our campus. You can find the whole list on our placement website companies like BNY Mellon, media.net, and Microsoft. The highest package in 2023 was 54lpa and the average was 14.2lpa percentage of students was 91%. My plan is pretty simple and it is to get placed.

In 6 semesters students become eligible for placements. Companies like media.net adverb Oyo visit colleges to give placement offers. The highest package was around 54 lakhs and the average was 14.5 lpa last year. 95% of students were placed. My plans are like every normal engineering student to grab a good placement after getting the degree.

Students can sit for placement after their 6th semester and for internships, it is after 4th semester. there are a lot of companies from various sectors visiting our campus some highlited ones are BNY Melon, Media.net, intuit, google, Microsoft, Samsung R&D, etc. Talking about placement percentage it is somewhere around 98-99% and if we take the average of all the branches it is somewhere around 13-15 LPA. just to mention that you can find all these details and even more on the training and placement cell official website of LNMIIT.

You are eligible after the 5th semester to give internships and all the companies which I have mentioned previously give internships at a stipend of 35000 per month. Projects under faculty you have complete with their signature and letter.
