Course Curriculum Overview

As I have a keen interest in coding and have some inclination towards electronics so I choose this course. Faculty: Student is 1:40. All teachers have done Ph.D. in their respective subjects and the teaching style is simple and conventional. Quizzes were conducted after every 2 weeks and exams twice a year. Exams are a bit difficult.

Class Size: 115Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience

You are eligible after the 5th semester to give internships and all the companies which I have mentioned previously give internships at a stipend of 35000 per month. Projects under faculty you have complete with their signature and letter.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a 10 percent hike policy after every year. As I got admission in 2022, I would have to pay 22 Lakhs while seniors of Y-21 are to give 20 Lakhs. If your CGPA is 9 or above and you have some financial crises, college may provide some relief or in case you are a child of a single parent with the same CGPA criteria.

Campus Life

Three main fests are conducted annually Plinth (tech fest) in the month of Jan Desportivo (sports fest) in the month of Feb Vivacity(Cult fest) in the month of Feb other fests like Halloween, Gusto, and Rubaroooo are conducted after 1 -1 month gap from the day of admission. We have several clubs in our colleges for photography, astronomy, sports, drama and for music as well.

Hostel Facilities

Room are provided with basic facilities like cupboard, study table, lan port, and a chair. The mess quality is below expectation. As the food quality is bad and not hygienic.\ Hostel fees are 400000 per year and you're being enrolled at your respective hostel on the day of admission.

Admission

You have to give JEE Mains and should clear it with 93 percentile above to get any of the branches. All the details related to admission are shared through a website. No reservations or benefits for any kind of category.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

the college provide good placement and internship opportunities and the average package stays around 12-13 lpa , almost 80% students get campus placement in good companies and the exams and eligibility process is very simple - just maintain the good cgpa with good commincation skills

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

I applied to Thapar, IIIT Kota, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Bhopal and BITS Pilani. Thapar has very large batch size so I did not chose it. IIIT Kota does not has a permanent campus so I rejected it, for IIIT Sonepat there has been a decrease in its value from previous decade so I rejected it. I got rejected from BITS Pilani due to low score in BITSAT. Admission process is good, only JEE Mains scores are considered and some Rajasthan Board toppers quota is there. I applied for amrita vishwa vidyapeetam coimbatore, VIT vellore and Lnmiit. I didn't get any rejection from any college. I applied for Jaypee college noida , Manipal University except lnmiit . I got confirmed admission in Jaypee . I chose lnmiit as it is ranked higher and also have a better reputation than those and is also tougher to get in . I didn't make it other colleges as my scores fell short .
