Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum alligns with current industry needs and integrating topics like Artificial intelligence, Data Science, IoT, Machine Learning, Cloud etc. Eqyal emphasis on foundational subjects maths, physics etc. and advanced technical courses. A well rounded engineering course with skilled faculty and academics with practical exposure. The exams are held three times in a semester first is mid-terms exams 20 marks each, practical exams of 30 marks each and semester exams of 50 marks each with practical snd without practical 80 marks each. The difficulty of exams is from moderate to high.

Placement Experience

4

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The odd sem fee is 36250 and even sem fee is around 36000. Rhe above fee includes development fee of 11750 and tuition fee of 24500. These may differ in even sem fee. The fee is same for all categories. There are two type of seats SFA(Self funded seat) and GAS(Government aided seat). The above fee is mentioned of SFS seat and for GAS seat the fee is of around 19000. The GAS seat is only in Mining Engineering and in Agriculture Engineering departments. There is also a TFSW(Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme) for eligible students as per criteria. There are scholarships which are provided by NSS(National Scholarship Scheme) and some other private scholarships like Siemens. The scholarships provided are of different amount like in government scholarships it is of amount aroun 60000 and private scholarships give amount on their basis.

Campus Life

5

Campus is awesome with greenery and scenic views from mountain and clean and infrastructure is quite good. There was a technical fest organised in April 2023 titled as AAGAM which includes extra curricular activities and technical activities and games like ea sports and coding contests and cultural activities. There was also a university fest which was also held in April 2023 which includes all colleges within university MPUAT. The library is very nice named as KN Nag Library is very vast with enormous number of books with relevant to all courses and other important topics. The classroom is also good with projectors and nice wooden furniture and smart board. The sports and extracurricular activities are held every regulary as per academic calender release by college. The games are held within college first as inter branch and later as inter college tournaments. Debates and other activities are also organised. There are many groups which are run by group of students to enhance their talents and bring out best of them. The groups are Genesis(It encourages innovative youth and help them in implementing their innovations.), CTAE Coders Carousel(official programming club if CTAE, it organise coding contests and hackathons and it isa community for passionate programming students dedicating for advancing skills.)

Hostel Facilities

4

About hostels they are as such for first year to third year students they are double seated with 2 beds, 2 tables, 2 chairs, 2 almirahs and the fee is 25570 and the single occupancy room is only provided for final year students with a fee of 26670. There are separate hostels for each year students. Every year students have to shift hostels as they get promote to next year. The allotment is done on the basis of performance based in exams. The mess food is quite food, it is excluded from hostel fee and have to paid every month. There is special dieat at Sunday lunch and there is no dinner on Sunday night. I have opted for hostel, I live in college premises. The registration for new admissions is done on the first day of induction programme and for existing students every year we have to pay fee and submit hostel form in chief warden office.

Admission

I applied for many colleges like AMU(Zakir Hussain College of engineering and technology), Jamila Milia Islamia University for B.tech and appeared for JEE. I choosed CTAE because I did a thorough research about college and found it appealing for me. Yes I didn't get into Jamia Milia Islamia University because of their cut-off and didn't get any decent college during JEE councelling, that's why I chose CTAE. The admission is done through REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process), it accepts JEE score and 12th percentage as selection criteria and released ranks on their basis. It doesn't hold exam for selection process. We have to fill choices of colleges as oer our desire. They don't specify any cut-off particularly rather than they release ranks after evaluation of JEE score and 12th percentage. There are three rounds of councelling first round is for other state students, second round is for Rajasthan's students and third round is for upward movement. The upward movement is for students who don't get desired college so by applying for upward movement they can get better college and branch.

Faculty

5

The permanent faculties are highly educated with experience. The students to faculties ratio is high. The faculties are very helpful for students. All faculty members are good. There are 3 exams per semester mid-term each of 20 marks, practical exams each of 30 marks and semester exams each of 50 with practical and without practical 80 marks each. The fail students number is quite low.

Night Life

3

The campus is rich in for hangout spots like cafeteria and othe places. There are not such late night activities but with in hostels students can enjoy. The canteen close at 8 pm and library operates within college working hours. The hostel timings are also different for first uear students and other year students. For first year students for six months they are not allowed to go out of hostel in holidays and their gaye closes at 7 pm and for other year students there is no restriction and the gate closes at 10 pm. As Udaipur is a tourist rich city so there are very places for hangout like Fateh Sagar lake, Rani Road etc.

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.
