My straightforward Review of my college life

The course curriculum is decent and covers the main topic that are needed for the field one reason i chose this course is taht the subjects looked useful and gave a basic idea of what we need for future studies or jobs. The course does prepare us for real work to some extent but some parts could be moer practical. A few subjects feel outdated and can be improved by adding more hands-on learning updated examples. Exams are held on time and the pattern is predictable. The difficulty is moderate

My collage does offer some internship option but they are limited. A few companies visit most of these internships don't have any stipend, so students mainly join them just for experience. The projest given in these internship arwe usually simple and moderate somtimes advanceed, but the help beginners understand how work is done in a real office. Overall, the internship experience is okay for getting basic exposure, but good for high-level learning

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

SMCET are offered at ug pg level. the recent fee structure 2025-2026 is 12000 - 92000 for 3 year. The fee for the first year depends upon the percentage that you have scored in 12th. if it is 70% you will get 30% reducation and if it is 90 or above you wil get 70% reducation. about scholarship according to info special scholarship program for sc/st/obc/bpl students and specific support for girls aiming to help economically weaker or disadvantaged background students

My campus life has been decent but not very active. The college has some basic facilities like classrooms,lsbs,etc. Festivals and events happen but not very frequently, and most of them are small-scale. Sports activities are available but the option are limited and not many . there are a few clubs and students groups but they are not active overall, the campus environment is peaceful, but it could be much better if the college focused more on events clubs and improving the facilities for students.

I checked a few other collages before taking admission here but most of them either too expensive or too far from my place. and i am lateral entry student and this collage have best offers for me according to my marks. i didn't face any big issues while applying and everything wes clear from the start

The faculty to student ratio in my college is manageable. Most classeshave a reasonable number of students so teacher can pay attention when needed The exam system is straightforward. we have internal exam assisgnments and thain semester exam overall, the course curriculum is okay. it covers the basic topics we needed.

The nightlife around my collage is pretty quiet.since i am not staying in the hostel, The campus itself closes early ,and there aren't many late night spots or active hangout places there are few basic shops and cafes in the surrounding area, but nothing that stays open very late. overall, the nightlife is simple and limited and most of us staying indoors or heading home.
