LNMIIT College latest review.

Computer science and engineering is a buzzing field so I chose it. The curriculum is very well designed to make it upto the real world. The areas that need improvement is the teaching style as some faculties still teach in old way that needs improvement/ The frequency and timing is good, some may find it little bit fast. The difficulty level is quite difficult. Majority will find it difficult.

Students from 5th semester and onwards become eligible. Major companies include Deloitte, Samsung, Microsoft and Google. Highest package offered is 1.25 Crores while average is:- CSE - 15.5 LPA CCE - 12.5 LPA ECE - 13.5 LPA MME - 10.5 LPA 95+ percent of students get placed. I plan to directly get a job or go for higher education from some IITs.

Year wise fees will be around 650000 considering hostel and all. Every fees is considered in main fees only. There is no caste quota and management quota. Every course carries same fees but for 5 years, you need to pay 7-8 lakhs more. There are 3 merit based scholarships here- 1. If you have JEE Advanced rank below 5000, then you get 35k rupees. 2. If JEE Advanced rank in range 5000 - 10000 then 30k rupees. 3. If JEE Advanced rank in range 10000 - 15000 then 25k rupees.

The annual fests are:- Vivacity, Plinth and Zenith. All are held during January. You can find books of all types in the library ranging from Veds to Games to theory. Classrooms are still little bit odd fashioned. They use blackboard and chalk. The sports facilities available are very upto date. You can find every sport here, all kind of extracurricular activities are appreciated here. There are clubs for every extracurricular activity you can think of.

Facilities provided are 2 wooden cupboards, 2 iron beds, 1 window AC, 2 windows and a matress per bed in a double sharing room. Making the amount of bed and cupboard to 3 for triple sharing. Quality of meal is okayish and menu changes on a monthly basis. Registration process is fast as you need to tick mark on the things provided in the room and that is it. The locality is called BH 4 and has a nearby lawn, the distance from LHs is around half a kilo meter.

I applied to Thapar, IIIT Kota, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Bhopal and BITS Pilani. Thapar has very large batch size so I did not chose it. IIIT Kota does not has a permanent campus so I rejected it, for IIIT Sonepat there has been a decrease in its value from previous decade so I rejected it. I got rejected from BITS Pilani due to low score in BITSAT. Admission process is good, only JEE Mains scores are considered and some Rajasthan Board toppers quota is there. General cutoffs is:- CSE : 96.5 %ile CCE : 95.5 %ile ECE: 95 %ile MME : 92.5 %ile

For every faculty, there are 100 students. Faculty is very approachable and they clear doubts very effectively. All the faculties are great, one can not compare them.Every faculty has different teaching style so one can not compare them. There are normally 4 quizzes and 2 mid - sem exams. They are quite difficult and around 20-25% of students do fail them.

We did not have a GD or written test. Interview included some basic questions and JEE Mains percentile. The process was :- We reached a lecture hall. Then in lecture hall, we had to approach a faculty who asked us some simple basic questions and then, we were allowed to proceed with other formalities.

Gyms close by 10:30 PM. Libraries and Public areas continue till 12 AM. There are night canteens which go till 3 AM but the major cafeteria spots close by 11:30PM. Hostel in timings is 12 AM. Famous spots to roam at are diamond(cafeteria), central plaza and academic buildings. The entire locality is safe to roam at.
