LNMIIT - Real truth behind choosing this college

I applied on colleges like thapar punjab., jaypee noida, nirma ahemdabad, daiict etc I cant get daiict after that my priority is only lnmiit and luckily l got cse there Because it is on well known and centred city. Because it's provides a good environment for developing coding skill and other than academic skill I learned here table tennis but I think they should have a sports coach . I chose this collge by looking at the placements stats, coding culture of college, no reservation policy, quality selection in gsoc(not happening now coz of our dean*) and better than most of IIITs and GFTIs...Read More

i chose lnmiit mainly because i had heard a lot of positive things about its coding culture ,which is very string here .It is known for good students communities and coding events.i was also looking at placements and based on the options i had lnmiit seemes to have better placement stats and opportunities i did not apply to too many colleges. i had filled form for jaypee and got cse there but i foung lnmiit to be better overall. i also filled forms for a few ipu colleges in delhi bu ti did not consider them seriously as lnmiit seemed like a better choice in terms of acads and environment . one more reason i chose lnm over jaypee that its campus felt small to me andi personally wanted to study i a place with decent campus size and a good environment .also i heard about lnmmit fests and students activities are better as compared to jaypee. i did not really got rejections. i did not go through full josaa counselliing because i was getting lower branches in nits which i did not want so i focussed on getting a good branch in a good private college. the admission process of lnmiit is quite simple simple and similar to other colleges . admission is based on jee mains percentile the general eligibilty was around 90 percentile after shortlisting they ask for document verificationa and submission you get brach based on your preference and your rank the process was overall smooth and on day of admission there are ccell member(group of seniors part of councellling cell of lnm to guide the juniors about each process ) ....Read More

I was getting admission in a few top NITs lower branches and CSE in IIITs like Nagpur and Sricity. I opted for this college because of its campus life and balanced placements. There is a separate counselling for LNMIIT. You need 60% in board exams. You need the JEE Mains score primarily for admission here. The main reason was no reservation policy. I was getting thapar, msrit and other colleges but the main issue was the intake and the reservation. The crowd of this college is amazing and you meet the people of same calibre as yours . I didn't get bits pilani so this was my other option. The admission process is simple- You need to apply on the website providing all the documents and pay 2000 If you are eligible to sit in the counselling,you will be asked to pay 25,000 to sit in the counselling. There are around 5-6 rounds. After selection you need to report to college on the date mentioned with the required documents .The accepted exams are jee mains and jee advanced only. The cutoff for cs branch was around 48000 while the cutoff for ece this year was around 94000...Read More
