LNMIIT Admissions 2025: Courses, Eligibility, Selection Criteria & Important Dates
Established in 2002, LNMIIT Jaipur offers UG, PG and Phd programs in Engineering & Technology, Sciences and other disciplines. Admission to BTech, Integrated BTech+ MTech and BTech Lateral is offered in three modes: JEE Main, Direct admission to Central & State Board toppers and Direct admission to Abroad (DASA) for PIOs and NRIs categories. For MTech, LNMIIT conducts its own entrance test followed by an interview. However, GATE qualified candidates will be given preference at the time of admission.
MSc admission is also granted on the basis of the LNMIIT-based written test while IITJAM qualified candidates can also apply. LNMIIT, Jaipur offers admission to MS by Research and PhD courses on the basis of a written test followed by an interview. GATE/SLET/NET or any other equivalent examination qualified candidates are exempted from LNMIIT written test.

All other applicants, who do not satisfy any of the category A, B, C as mentioned above, MUST appear for an institute-level written test. A separate merit list will be prepared based on the applicant’s performance in the institute-conducted written test. Candidates will be admitted based on this merit list, subject to the availability of seats. The syllabus for the written test is as per the GATE 2025 syllabus in the relevant discipline.

LNMIIT BTech Admissions 2025
LNMIIT offers admission to BTech, BTech+MTech and BTech Lateral based on the candidate’s JEE Main scores. The institute also enrolls Central and State board toppers. To be eligible, the candidate should be an Indian citizen. Applicants appearing in class 12th examination are also eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates are enrolled under the DASA Scheme, as well. NRIs and PIOs are enrolled based on their SAT Scores.

LNMIIT Jaipur offers MTech in various specializations for the duration of 2 years. To be eligible, candidates must have BE/BTech in the relevant discipline. Additionally, candidates must also appear for the institute-based written test, followed by an interview. Candidates with a relevant discipline, along with a valid GATE score will be admitted directly to the institute. This is subject to the merit list and availability of seats.

LNMIIT PhD Admissions 2025
In addition to undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the institute also offers PhD in various specialisations. These are offered in full-time mode. Admission is granted based on a written test conducted by LNMIIT followed by a personal interview. However, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in order to get admission. Candidates who have qualified for national level fellowships like GATE (Qualified during last 5 year), CSIR/UGC-NET-JRF, JEST (with valid score), DST-INSPIRE, CEED, NBHM Ph.D. or other national level exam, in the relevant subject/discipline are exempted from the Institute’s written test.

LNMIIT Application Process
Eligible candidates, if interested, can apply to LNMIIT Jaipur via the institute’s official website. All admissions to LNMIIT Jaipur are handled only through the admission portal on their official website.
For regular UG courses, the application fee is INR 2000 for male candidates, and INR 1000 for female candidates. For PG and PhD courses, the application fee is INR 500, and INR 250 for females. For candidates applying via DASA, the application fee is INR 7500 for males, and INR 3750 for females.
Candidates can apply to their desired course by following the steps given below.
- Click on "New Registration for New Registration Application".
- Fill the mandatory information to create an account.
- Your account details containing Application ID and Password for your online application form will be sent to your registered Email ID and Mobile No.
- Sign in to your account using the Application ID & password on the admission portal.
- Fill all the information in the online application form.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee.
LNMIIT Admissions 2025: FAQs
Ques. When is the last date to submit the application for UG courses?
Ans. The last date of application is 15th May, 2024.
Ques. When do PhD admissions take place at LNMIIT Jaipur?
Ans. Admission to the Ph.D. Programme is carried out twice every year, once during June-July and the next during November-December period. However, candidates with national fellowships can apply for admission at any time throughout the year.
Ques. Do MTech students receive assistantship/financial assistance from the institute?
Ans. M. Tech. students with valid GATE score shall receive scholarship from AICTE as per rules. Financial support is available as a half-time teaching / research assistant (HTTA / HTRA) as per the rules of the institute. The HTTAship / HTRAship under this scheme will be equivalent to the full Tuition Fee, thus making it zero effective tuition fee. This will be extended to the next three semesters, provided the candidate is able to maintain a minimum of 7 CGPA and do satisfactory work as assessed by the Department.
Ques. Do MSc students receive any assistantship/financial assistance from LNMIIT?
Ans. A few assistantships (10 students in Mathematics and Physics each) are available, on the basis of merit/ selection as Teaching Assistantship.
The assistantship amount at present is INR 5,000/- per month. The students’ progress will be reviewed at the end of each semester and based on that the Department will recommend the top 10 students for financial support for the next semester. For the first semester, top 10 students will get assistance based on their rank in the admission process. Admission will be conducted in stages via various modes, the merit list will also be created in the following order:
- JAM qualified students based on their percentile.
- CUET-PG qualified students based on the CUET score and the cut-off decided by the Institute.
- Institute qualified students based on the score obtained in the online interview.
Ques. Is there any provision for management quota or capitation fee?
Ans. No. There is no provision for management quota or capitation fee. You only have to pay tuition fee and other charges as mentioned in the fee structure.
