Remarks

The LNM Institute Of Information Technology accepts admission mainly through the JEE Mains score. For Computer Science and Engineering the minimum required percentile this year was 97%Ile. My score was 98.19%Ile. The application form can be found on their official website. This college takes admission purely on merit. No reservation can be availed. Overall the admission process is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken up CSE out of my interest in programming and data science. The faculty is quite supportive and each course faculty has 1:150 faculty student ratio. All the faculties are highly qualified and PhDs from IITs, or foreign universities such as Cambridge, Oxford etc. Their method of teaching is overall okay, definitely there is some improvement needed. The mid and end sems exams are conducted in end of september and beginning of December respectively. The exams are set based on assignments which do have pretty good questions and can only be solved if practice is dine beforehand.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost is nearly Rs 275000/- per semester. The scholarships can be availed by first-year students if they secure a 9+ CGPA and get up to Rs 40000/- per semester. You may avail of the scholarship if you do good in the first semester.

Campus Life

We have annual fests such as plinth, Desportivo and vivacity. The plinth is our tech fest and one of the largest in Rajasthan. Vivacity is the second biggest cultural fest in Rajasthan. Desportivos is the annual sports fest. These are conducted in January and February. Apart from the fests the library is quite amazing. It has a digital library as well where books are available on the system. The classrooms are quite huge and are fully air-conditioned with a smart board. There are many clubs related to the Cultural Council, Sports Council, and Science and Technology Council. We have many events hosted quite regularly by these clubs. Our quiz club, Quizzinga is one the most known club. It had achieved our college a huge reputation. The clubs are usually coordinated by the third-year students and they give their full best.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

Placement Experience:

about 90 percent people get placed and the rest goes for masters or become enterprenuers. Top companies that visit campus are Samsung ,BNY,Flipkart etc.Highest package goes upto 1.3 cr with average of 13lpa and median of 12lpa.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

LNMIIT College latest review.

I applied to Thapar, IIIT Kota, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Bhopal and BITS Pilani. Thapar has very large batch size so I did not chose it. IIIT Kota does not has a permanent campus so I rejected it, for IIIT Sonepat there has been a decrease in its value from previous decade so I rejected it. I got rejected from BITS Pilani due to low score in BITSAT. Admission process is good, only JEE Mains scores are considered and some Rajasthan Board toppers quota is there. I applied for amrita vishwa vidyapeetam coimbatore, VIT vellore and Lnmiit. I didn't get any rejection from any college.
