Kanika library was the best thing i like about this institution. it is really great facility for students to read in a calm environment.
They are very helpful and student friendly with very good experiences and their mentorship is outstanding.
Maximum of th3 best ranking students get the placements at renowned companies like godrej bosch, hotachi, wipro, infosys, tcs, tata, mahindra etc.

Dislikes

Bad environment in night time and bad student in our side
The drainage system is very poor. In rainy season its very difficult to move in the campus.
The hostel food is not so great, many changes needs to be done.

Ravenshaw students always in ahead

Likes

I like Ravenshaw because here studying are very good and give better placement after complete the course yei
The campus of Ravenshaw University present in pollution Free environment
It is very helpful University to provide a better study and placement for all students

Dislikes

I don't like lived in hostel because their food and bedroom are not clean
All claas where AC is present I don't like
No maximum students present in the class

The environment is very friendly. The teachers are good
Infrastructure is very nice and all the students are also very friendly
The campus deals with ragging issues very seriously.

Dislikes

The labs are not fully equipped.the systems are not working properly
Hostel accomodation is very poor.there are not enough hostel for students
The projectors doesn't work properly which is a big issue.

Placement Experience:

The college provides an average placement.the placement usually comes around 5th sem. Various companies visits the college like wipro, Deloitte,TCS, Infosys, Accenture etc.The highest packages goes around 4.7 lpa and the average goes around like 2.7 lpa

Life at ravenshaw

Likes

The fees structure is fairly nice for the education we get
The facilities we get a very less cost , like hostel
A beautiful campus and a reputed college

Dislikes

Air conditioner is not available and too.humid in summer
Cleanliness and water clogging problems are lot during rainy season
The staff is very rude at times and very arrogant

Placement Experience:

The placements are average. But no perfect in today's scenario. If no campus is offered, I would go for off campus interviews or try for government jobs like upsc or any other jobs. I am interested in defence sector and would also try in the same

Likes

Teachers are cooperative. If you have any doubt you could ask the respective teacher freely.
Have proper system. Everything done on time.
Campus is good and available all most all facilities.

Dislikes

May be the protest for exam unnecessarily

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate 5 out of 5 to this course curriculum in terms of relevance and Comolrehesiveness. As most of the student know there are 2 semester in a year and also 2 mid semesters. I think the difficulty level depend on student.

Placement Experience:

For 5th and 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. The average package is 4 lakh per annum But my plans are different as I want to give different government examination. The average percentage of students getting placements are 7.5 cgpa

Our campus is a green campus offering a huge range of oppurtunities to all in every prespectives.
The university faculties are ery friendly manner to help students.
It's a open and free university so students can achieve their dreams.

Dislikes

The administration management is not so co-operative as it is STATE BANK OF INDIA.
The security system is very bad, outsiders can easily enter to it.
And during Rainy seasong, the drainage system is biggest nightmare.

Self finincing course arre getting placements from many companies. From 5th semester companies are called for campus hiring. If a student don;t have any backlogs and securing more than 60 percent in those 5 semesters then he/she is eligible for campus hiring. Many companies like Accenture, Delloite, Delloite India, PWC, TCS, Tech mahindra, Concentrix, Cognizant, Vois, ICICI Bank, HDFC Banks andd may more Starup companies are come for campus hiiring. About 80 perccent students get placed in Campus palcements. Off campus hiring are also occured by some companies.

The College campus is big enough with different departmental buildings for different Honours. Kanika Library, Indoor/outdoor gym, cafeteria, tennis club, everything is available for college students.
In most of the dept. Like ours in CS dept rooms are fully air conditioned with smart board for practical and comfort learning zone.
Teachers are well versed about current market technology needs and taught us the same and also invite us to clear our doubts

Dislikes

This year means in 2024, placement scene was not good because very companies came like Deloitte, Accenture, PWC, Verizon, TCS, Genpact
There is no pre-placement training, whatever we have achieved in any company through placements by only sake of own readiness
Food availability is hardly can be said to yes within college because in cafeteria the food available are not fresh which can lead to health issue

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester for BSc level courses, students can seat for placements for various companies like Accenture, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Genpact, Capgemini, Vois, Verizon, Cocentrix, PWC, Piramal finance, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, etc. In 2024, more than 100 students grabbed the placement opportunity including me ( I got placed at Deloitte as an Associate Analyst ). The average package is Rs. 3.5 Lakhs/annum and Highest is 5 lakhs/annum.

Faculties are so high of themselves . They think they are the gods.
There are so many hidden things in the processes of result announcement and others.iykyk
There are so many restrictions in this college even after it is a govt University

Placement Experience:

From your 2nd year or 4th semester you can apply for campus. Companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Vodafone and etc etc. I don't know about the highest package but the average is 3 lakh per year around. The percentage of getting on campus is higher.

Honest review of Ravenshaw University, Cuttach

Likes

The environment is very good for college students.Lots of cultural activities and fests are held. Equal opportunities is sports area and others like ncc. The teachers are friendly and well behaved .overall good experience.

Dislikes

The rain water management is not good. Whenever it rains the water fills up the campus like swimming pool . You can see students struggling in rainy season it's very inconvenient. All the dirty water from the road comes here.
