This is an IT course, so it offers a wide range of opportunities in IT sector. Ravenshaw Self financing courses offers lots of campus placements. Many students like approxmately 80 percent students get placed in many companies. Companies like Accenture, PWC, TCS, Concentrix, ICICI Bank, Vois, Tech Mahindras, Delloite, Cognizant, Delloite India, and many startup companies came for campus placements. It offers both IT and BPO sector jobs. However the pacckage is low at all i.e. 1.3 LPA to maximum 3.8 LPA. As a entry level its quit desirable.

Our university alos provides internships oppurtunites along with placements. During thee final academic year there will be a project in which you will make a project of the related topics. There are both free and paid internships there and many workshops orgaised.

Self finincing course arre getting placements from many companies. From 5th semester companies are called for campus hiring. If a student don;t have any backlogs and securing more than 60 percent in those 5 semesters then he/she is eligible for campus hiring. Many companies like Accenture, Delloite, Delloite India, PWC, TCS, Tech mahindra, Concentrix, Cognizant, Vois, ICICI Bank, HDFC Banks andd may more Starup companies are come for campus hiiring. About 80 perccent students get placed in Campus palcements. Off campus hiring are also occured by some companies.

Basically I have pursued the Bachelor's Degree in Computer Application (BCA) formerly known as Information science and telecommunion (IST).This is a professional course. When I took admission in 2021, It's a 3years course and for admission to its it's fee structure was 33620 rupees, in which 30000 is tution fees and 2450 for boys and 2250 for girls and Sc,St catagory students is admission fee for the 1st year which is one time payment. Then after from second year the readmission fees is 30620 from which tution is same i.e. 30000 and redmission fee is 620.This 620 readmission fee includes all the others fees like caution fee, registration fee, development fee, lab fee, sports fee, library fee and other management fees .There are 6 semester and for each semester exam you have to pay 620 rupeesof semester fee for exam. As this is a self-financeing course, so there is no differnece in Tution fee structure of different catagories students (like SC/ST/OBC/ECBC/etc) but there is relaibilty in admission fees. It is the fee strucgture of 2021. Now in 2024 the fees are cahnged. for admission in to this course the 1st year admission fees is 37500/- in and admission fees is 2450 for boys and 2250 for girls, sc,st students intotal and there after 37500 per annum with the strength of 64 seats. And yes, Scholarships are also offered in this coursee. All the state govt scholarship like post matric, UG/PG professsional scholarships etc. and all the National govt. Scholarships (NSP) are offered for all the eligible students. This course offers a huge wide range of carrer oppurtunities for a better future. Many IT and BPO companies offers college placements through this course. But it doesn't include campus placement of MNC companies. But as the UG course, its packages are very low like from 144000 INR to maximum 300000 INR. Faculty Teachers are very cooperative and helpful. After all its Ravenshaw University, so it offers you the open carrer oppetunity at all.

Ravenshaw is well know for its campus fests. In every month there will be one or two fest are organized. It gives students there fredom of celebration and actives the extra co-curricular activities. Every year there is Inter state and Intra state level sports and cricket championships are organised. All the classroom are digitalised and well maintained, hygenic. There are some social groups, clubs and student portal for students. As it is open university theree is freedom for every studnets to show their talents like dancing, singing acting etc.

RAVENSHAW UNIVERSITY, CUTTACK is the one and only NAAC A++ tagged Govt university of Odisha also one of in India. Its everyone's dream to study in my University. Ravenshaw univerrsity history is more historic then other colleges and institutes. If you are lucky then you will get the admission into this. Other private and othr colleges you can get admitted by scoring avergae mark or with good amount of money but to get into Ravenshaw only your very good marks and luck is needed for it. So it;s the reason. I directly applied into this uniersity and get admission as am eligible for it and lucky also. The admission process is normal as other colleges. After completing your 12th with good marks you have to apply in it and of your mark is more than cut off mark and seats are available then you will get the admission because the higher you mark, the more is the chance for admission.

The stundents to faculty ration on an average is 1:6 or may varry in some courses. The faculty studetn relationship is quit good. Some faculties are not so friendly wheather some faculties are very friendly and cooperative towards the students. Some faculty are strict in manner. After all, every faculty have their unique approachable towards their students. In our curse, The Best fauclty is Soumyshree Mam. She is very friendly and co-operative to us. She teaches Electronics subjects and her teaching style is very unique. She understands the students situations and help them accordingly. There are total 6 semesters and all semesters are moderate to hard in nature. However there are a very few students failes to clear the exams sometimes. 90% students passes the exam. But the marking system is very particular, faculties only give marks on particular points related to the question topics. The ratio of is 9:1 ratioo. The course is very relevant to the curriculum.

No there is no written test. It is purely marked based selection procedure. There is an formal interview during the document verifiction during selecction process. Simply you have to apply through the portal and wait for the selection calling rounds.

There are a well equiped Gym, and a cafeteria and public ares for hanging out, sports, dancees and some amphethreaters for events and fests, 3 lawn ares. And our university has the Biggest Library of Odisha i.e.Kaniika Library. There are separete hostels for boys and girls and more than 10 hostels are there. There are many places, restro, cafes and famous spots near the campus. Its the center point of Cuttack city. It is a safe area to roam at night.
