Likes

The teaching faculty is excellent. they are expert and have a very good knowledge about the topics.
Scholarship will be soon arranged for the students who achieves by giving a test and is eligible for scholarship.it is important to be able to provide scholarship for althose who are in need .they need to be helped .
Students will absolutely enjoy their campus life as there are various fests, different days are celebrated and the campus itself is very beautiful to enjoy.

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty member of these college, also the hod is a liar.
The admission process was not that difficult but the website was very bad to handle...
Big line for paying fees, fees structure, no online payment available for many colleges

College campus is excellent , our college is so huge and beautiful.
The faculty and staff are supportive and teaching methods are excellent
Campus Life is too good also the environment also the students are good to interact

Dislikes

The does not provide any scholarships which is the minus point
The computer lab is so decent, i actually didn't like it
College mess is decent does not provide quality food

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester students become eligible for campus placements Infosys TCS tata Bajaj hdfc microsoft etc per year about 10-15 students gets placement,from about 3000 students 300 are selected for interview.

Faculty- student ratio is a bit steep maybe 1:10. Some teachers don't cause any problems regarding attendance
The college has a large campus size. Considering the surrounding areas are really congested, relative to that the college has a large campus size.
Good sports facilities are there if one is interested in sports, various kinds of competitions, fests.

Dislikes

The college has their own canteen too which serve okay-ish food.
The canteen food aee slightly overpriced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum and faculty members are very good and very learnfull. Faculties are very helpful in any situation and any circumstances either a college help of any personal help. Exams are very punctual in times.

Pros and Cons of Fergusson college pune

Likes

Professors are extremely supportive towards the students
Wide scope to interests in co curriculum
Various activities like SOEC, etc which helps to build a strong CV

Dislikes

Too much to walk to go to the Biotechnology department
The distance from canteen to canteen is too much
Fees is way more than average. Expects fees for every littilest of things

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college itself have a great reputation in terms of academics. So it was first thing that I took into consideration while taking admission. From day 1 everything was meant to prepare students for real world experiences. The teaching methods are not flexible enough when it comes to students. Due ro limited hours allotted to lectures students can't really focus on self development. Every month we haveexams and difficulty level keeps on increasing.

Best of my college

Likes

I like that the college is regular and teachers too , there is no break in studies or anything everything is regular
Also the college have sports department and everybody have an opportunity to play games and sports
There are many activities to participate and by participating we have extra marks for that

Dislikes

Our security is must therefore there should be good security service for college premises no other members should enter rather that college students

The teachings of every course is fullfill by teachers and students are very satisfied by there teaching. All students appreciate that they have got right teachers for there subject there is no need to change teachers or any other faculty members

Library ( According Course Easily Available Book Or Reference Book)

Internet Connection problem our cell phones in college building
Playground is short accounting number of students
Semester examination are conducted in so early in 3rd to 4th month,it should be take 5th or 6th month . It isn't College fault,it's university fault.

Knowledge of Computer technology and my interest in computer so i choose this course. So, that we can do the best in our course field and are not afraid of any situation in our career life. Time Management during the lecture period.

What's it to be a FERGUSSONIAN

Likes

The infrastructure is wonderful, you really get to feel that college vibes.
The campus is quite vast with almost all the requirements well fulfilled.
The departments are worth to be top ranking in Maharashtra. Specifically in Physics Department we have a AstroClub.

Dislikes

To maintain the vintageness of the campus many thinks aren't changed.
The online website isn't up to date , you need to verify some things offline.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One thing I would say which isn't to the mark is the curriculum of the course. The flow of basics to advanced is not well maintained. Rather subtopics are completed without interrelating them with the other parts of the course. The applications in real life are hard to figures out.The curriculum should start with very basics of each topics and then go for the advancement. The exams take place semester wise after every 6 months and the internals take place in between the two semester exams.

teachers are really supportive,good decennt campus ,a very good social gathering event called 'kshitij' held every year
i will say faculty's are really qualified and they help the students in every way that can be possible ,they focus on practical teaching rather than theortical
campus life is really good there is small sport room,a gym,canteen,garden and a decent ground for playing sports also varoious clubs also work here such as nadbramha and so on..

Dislikes

i will only say sport department of college is lag behind other colleges

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, the college will register the student on the pod where they can find internship opportunities, and from the 5th sem they become eligible for placement activities. companies like Accenture, Amdocs, tcs, Capgemini, Deloitte, etc. are visited for campus drives this year highest package is about 8 lakh and the average package is about 3.4 lakh about 70 percent students getting placement in college I got placement in Accenture

There is good and knowledgeable teachers they are very well experienced and brillient
Library facilities is good for student who like to self study
Good labs for zoology and botany they are well maintain

Canteen facility is not maintain in good condition it should be maintain in good
Campus area is smaller for student here studing it should be big enough
Some othere than teching staff like non teaching staff they are not as cooperative as it could be

The way of teaching of faculty was brilliant
Curriculum activities was on the top in college campus
Many placement recruitment used to come at college

Dislikes

Syllabus was very vast as compared to other universities
Some of the faculty staff was not having the proper knowledge
Marks disturbution system was not good compared to other colleges
