Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are requested to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Candidates found ineligible will be rejected at any stage in the admission process and no grievances will be entertained in this regard.
Educational Qualification:
a) Candidates should have successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree of a minimum of 3- or 4-year duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4- or 10+2+2+1-year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. This Master’s Degree program will have additional/specific eligibility requirements. Candidates are advised to refer to program-specific eligibility criteria (given below) for more details and ensure that they satisfy such specific eligibility criteria.
b) Candidates with M. A, M.Sc., LLM, MBA, M.Com, M.Tech, and other master's in the related fields also can apply
Work Experience:
c) The candidates with Bachelor’s degrees and Master’s degrees need to have a minimum of two years of work experience respectively in the field of Public Administration, Civil Services, Public Sector corporations, Elections & Electoral Management, Law & Policing, Audit & Accounts Services, Governance, Mass-Media, Management (public/private), Public Policy, Economics, Sociology, Geography, Population Science, Anthropology, Law, Human Resource Management, Statistics, Non-governmental organizations or related areas supported by documentary evidence.

TISS MIEMP (Masters in International Electoral Management and Practices) is a 2 Year Program. Candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and Valid CUET PG Scores can apply to the MIEMP program. TISS MIEMP fees is INR 3.4 Lakhs. TISS MIEMP intake for 2024 is 40.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1) from a Recognized University.
- Candidates with M.A, M.Sc., LLM, MBA, M.Com, M.Tech, and other Master's in the related field can also apply.
- 2 Years of Work Experience.
- Valid CUET PG Scores.
Final Selection for MIEMP Program is based on the Candidate’s Score in CUET PG Exam & Overall Performance in the Personal Interview.
TISS MIEMP Admission: How to Apply?
TISS MIEMP Applications can be filled online on the official website. To fill the application form for the program, check the steps below:
- Click on Apply Online.
- Register yourself with your email ID and get your username and password.
- Log in with your username and Password.
- Fill the application form with relevant details.
- Upload the scanned copies of all required documents.
- Submit the online application form and pay the application fee of INR 1,000 + bank charges per program (if being paid by Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking) and INR 500 + bank charges per program for SC/ST.
- Take as many as printouts of the filled application form for future reference.

Ques. Is MIEMP a Residential Program?
Ans.MIEMP Program will be delivered through a Blended Mode including both Offline & Online Components. The program duration will be 24 Months (4 Semesters).
Ques. What is the batch size of the TISS MIEMP Program?
Ans.TISS MIEMP batch size is 40. 25 Seats are reserved for Sponsored Candidates (including International) while 15 Seats are Open to Public.
Ques.Is Work Experience mandatory for applying to the TISS MIEMP Program?
Ans.Candidates who have a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree must have a Minimum of 2 Years (24 Months) of Work Experience to apply for the program.
