Do What You Love

WWI has a Placement Cells that keeps a track on opportunities for students. There is a mandatory internship that students need to complete after completion of sem 4 before sem 5 is commenced. Students can also get internships in the winter break during sem5. There are various live projects that students can work on depending on their interests and experience during the academic year. Final Placement opportunities are posted to students during sem 6 where students need to list themselves and let the cell know about their interests and priorities.

MUST PLACE TO COME

After their 3rd semester, students will sit for placement. There is Institute level Placement Cell and school level placementcell. One if a student got selected in any one of these, they are not eligible to sit for other comapnies. The companies change each year, and we can't be sure which company will come each year. The average package would be 6LPA and reach to 10LPA and more. Each year 90%+ students are getting placed. I would like to join the development sectors like NGOs and policy related think tank to connect to more with ground level works.

TISS Mumbai Placements 2023 has been concluded. TISS Mumbai's average package increased by 13.56% which stood at INR 27.2 LPA. TISS Mumbai's highest package stood at INR 49 LPA marking a 16.42% increase, while the median package increased by 14.44% to INR 25.75 LPA. TISS Mumbai Placements 2023 saw the participation of 42 recruiters including 6 new recruiters.
