TISS Mumbai offers a Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) and a BSc in Analytics and Sustainability Studies at the UG level. The selection criteria will be based on the CUET UG scores conducted by the NTA.

TISS Mumbai UG Admission 2025 Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for BSW and BSc at TISS Mumbai are
- Students should have passed 10+2 or intermediate in any subject stream from a recognized board.
- Students who have studied for the International Baccalaureate Diploma and will be completing the 12th class with clear results declared by July 2025 are eligible to apply.
- The upper age limit for general candidates is 20 years, for OBC it is 22 years, and for SC & ST candidates, the age limit is 24 years as of 31st July 2025.

I was more of a defence aspirant and got into OTA but was later medically unfit so I choosed TISS as my back-up option. I had confirmed admissions from IMU Mumbai , Vizag and All the Nits of north east and Nit Srinagar. Also i had offers from Nirma University and SRM and Symbiosis University.But TISS was most reputed of them all so i preferred coming here , also the academic load isn't very high here was a reason for me to join here so i can polish my other skills without compromising study. Now the admission process for TISS is different , we gave TISS bat exam and merit list was prepared based on that , cut-off was around 35 marks out of 50 for general category students. Now the admission is done through CUET UG exam and I don't have much idea about it.

Comparing to other colleges, the syllabus is practically and socially relevant for Indian context. And our institution has a properly functioning placement cell. Also it's a well known premium institution

I had admission offers from SIBM Bangalore, LBSIM Delhi, IMT Nagpur and some tier 3 business schools. But I chose TISS because they have good branding and overall it aligns better with my goals of starting my own venture rather than learning how to work in a corporate culture. I got rejection from IIM Kozhikode, NIBM Pune, SIBM Pune, NMIMS Mumbai and some New IIMs. Admission process is rigorous you have to appear for CAT/CUET for getting the online assessment (GDPI) call, you have to fill DAF form (very important thing) on the basis of your overall score of GDPI and entrance exam you will get your names in admission list. PI is hard to crack.

All I know was, I cannot continue my work in more mechanised or corporate world. I need to keep my thoughts touch ith grassroot level and only a social science institutecan bring that. TISS is one of the best institutes for learning different ideas and lenses.
I have applied for other colleges like MSSW, Chennai and CHRIST UNIVERSITY, Bengaluru but when I got my result from TISS I didn't bother to attend other college entrance exams. There was no second thoughts. Whatever I got here, I would have joined.
