They have good teaching skills and exam guidance and suggestions are very good
Festival celebrations are awesome and we enjoy it to the extreme level.
There not much of an increase in fee as far as i know and there are so many scholarship and aids from government and non government parties.

Dislikes

The delay of semester exams and second semester is very fastly going on
My college principle is a very bad character no programs very bad colleg but university college is a campus and programs
Examination are alredy disliked and students are some getting tired by writing exams and all this was unlocked by the students of every colleges

College atmosphere is very peaceful. Students have oppertunity for improving their skills

Dislikes

There are a lot of street dogs in our college compound

Students become eligible for campus placements from seventh semester. Different core companies as well as information technology companies offer campus placements to the college.A whole lot of students gets placed before leaving the college

Campus life at GEC Palakkad: a balanced experience of academics, culture and community

Likes

Affordable education is the main thing i liked in this college. the fee structure is economical including quality eductaion accessible to all.
The campus environment is peaceful, promoting a good atmosphere for studies.
The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive

Dislikes

Infrastructure could be improved especially lab facilities.
Placement opportunities are limited and the college could enhance it's industry connections.
extracurricular activities are less, wide range of cultural and technical events would enrich campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and practical, rated 6/10 covering core subjects like power systems, machines,renewable energy etc. Two internal exams are conducted per semester and one end semester exam is moderately challenging.

College is almost nice but not that much enjoyable

Likes

The place were the college located in a hill so the atmosphere i good for studying
class and toilets are well clean, and there is waste bin infront of every bathroom
Have a big Playground with football post volleyball net and basketball stand

Dislikes

Sometimes the drinking water doesnt work properly and not clean also
even the college located in a hilly area we have lot to travel from entrance to college
The computer lab is not working properly sometimes mouse doesnt work sometime keyboard , or sometime the whole computer doesnt turn on beacuse of that we cant attend a proper lab section

Placement Experience:

I think its very tough to get placement from this college we have to try hard to get placement , even though we get a may be a 30000 or 40000 of packages from company all you have to do is pass every exam and earn the first class certificate from the college thats all

Palakkads very own engineering college

Likes

College had a very good infrastructure for all batches
Situated in a quiet and calm village background
College fests and events better than expected

Dislikes

Night life is basically non existent here
Sports in the college is not very good here
College is not available to the students 24 hours

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts from our final year But still placements in general are lower for a government college Companies like walkaro come for student intake The average package would be 3 lakhs Only a 20% students get placed I plan on seeking a job

GEC Palakkad: Pros and Cons

Likes

The thing I like the most is the faculties.
Better lab and library facilities. Labs are fully air conditioned
Better campus life as the quality of time with friends is good

Dislikes

Very poor placement oppertunity. Placements are very low
Night life provided is very less as the Hostel timings is 9:30
Dogs are the main problem faced by the faculties and students

One of the biggest drawback of the college is the lack of palcement recieved by the students. There is only very few oppertunities and students need to find work on their own . The college lacks industry collaborations and placement drives whick does not attact industries. Mostly 50% of the students gets placed from the college and the students. The highest package recieved is almost 8LPA. Currently Im preparing for GATE exam and thus choosing for Mtech.

The faculties are very nice and friendly with students
College programs are very beautiful and it is planned and arranged by the students
Active collegiate clubs of SAE, IEEE, ISTE, GDS.

Dislikes

Very poor lab facilities and damaged machines
The facilities can be according to latest technology here it is not like that
Lack of entertainment areas lack of gardens etc..

Government Engineering College Sreekrishnapuram -Review

Likes

1:1 ratio for boys and girls, and in some classes, it is 2:1.
The social interaction is great, there will have many events for interaction.
The infrastructure is great, there have almost 4 labs and 2 seminar halls for the CSE department only.

Dislikes

Number of students who got placement is less.
Teachers have less knowledge about current technical terms.
The average CTC is 3 lakh per annum for students.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered here, but somehow the number of companies visiting here is really less, almost 3 companies per year. Students have to go for off campus placements for getting placed and some have plans for opting higher education.

Calicut University has worth, which is why it is still in running. Some students enter college and, after a year, succumb to depression due to personal reasons, despite having been good students in the school with over 85% marks. Nonetheless, they fail in a few semesters.

Exams are not held on time, and results are not delivered on time. Only book nerds find it easy to pass with passing grades. This university is not thought to be for the underprivileged. You simply must be patient and work extremely hard to avoid becoming trapped in such a situation. Studying one or two weeks before an exam will not help in any way.
