Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is not relevant, the topics and the subjects we are learning is out of time. Students have to take extra efforts to get placement and to know about current teachnologies, but the university has been updated it for new comers.

Placement Experience

1

Campus placement is offered here, but somehow the number of companies visiting here is really less, almost 3 companies per year. Students have to go for off campus placements for getting placed and some have plans for opting higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

The average course fee for Studying Engineering in our college is 18000 per year. there will different scholarship fees like EGrantz, Pragati, etc. one can only avail maximum 1 scholarship. The students from reservation category like SC/ST, they don't need to pay any fee, including hostel fee. In Pragati scholarship, which is only for girls, there is an amount of 50,000 per year. Egrants scholarship will give on an average 50 percentage concession to students in fees. Marks scored, family income are the main criterias for the scholarship.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is too good. there will have many events in every month for social interaction and showcasaing there skills, coordinated by different communities. Invento is the annual tech fest happening in each year, and Daksha is the art fest. There is a college library for students and also CSE department library, students with ID card access it.

Hostel Facilities

3

Sadly, our college cannot provide hostel facilities for all students , because of limitd seeats in hostel. the students are filtered based on the distance, family income and the marks scored. Other students will opt for private hostels. College hostel will have quality meal where menu is decided by students its self.

Admission

I got this college based on my rank is entrance exam named KEAM, The exam is conducted by Kerala Government and the university is APJ Abdhul Kalam Technological University. Our college has better infrastructure and comparatively near from my village. For getting CSE course in our college, one should get less than 4000 rank in keam without reservation

Faculty

3

There will be 2 tutors for each classes. a teacher is assigned for each theory subjects, and for practical subjects, there will be be 2 teachers assigned for the role. I like the faculties who came for college not for just to mark our attendence, they should support us, guide us, trust us. I don't like the faculties who are judgemental. there will 2 mid term evaluation in each semester which is in easy to medium mode, and semester examination will be on medium to difficult mode, 70 percentage students will pass the exam

Night Life

4

Night life is good, the curfew time for college hostels is 9:30 PM. Gym can be used by students any time, cafeterias will close at 7:00 PM. We roam around our college at night, there will be sergeants in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
