Each semester we have to pay semester registration fees. The amount of fees varies depending on your category. A maximum of 8500 will cost for the registration. Sc st students need not to pay this Obc candidates who are eligible for egrantz have fees reduction.

INVENTO is the annual tech fest of our college and it is the most beautiful event in our college. Besides tech fest we have Arts fest sports meet and department association day programmes. SAE and IEEE are the most active clubs in our college and. Students from SAE had received national awards.

Both girls and boys hostel have the best food. The food menu is prepared by the students. There will be a warden and other staffs for kitchen and cleaning works. Hostel is not for all students. Distance from home to college, marks scored, annual income etc.. are the major factors considered while alloting hostel

In Kerala I always felt that learning enginnering in govt colleges are always better than studying in private colleges. GEC PALAKKAD is one among the govt college in Kerala. Admission process is through KEAM entrance examination and allotment will be based on the scores obtained

As a mechanical student I can clearly say about the faculties of mechanical department. They are well educated with knowledge in almost everything. They support students in co curricular activities and curricular activities. Both lab staffs and faculties are too good.

The college is basically not 24 hr campus. But during programmes there will be works happening all time by the students. Girls hostel has a curfew of 9pm. Gym is available. The area is a rural area with immense natural beauty of Palakkad. We can see peacocks every morning in and out the campus
